Deflected Shape and Bending Moments: Test 2

This is a purely qualitative exercise rather than quantitative. You are only expected to
draw the deformed shape and the bending moment diagram for the following structures
A maximum of 5 marks are available per problem, marks will be awarded based on the
presentation and correctness of your deformed shape and bending moment diagrams
Notes:
The members are assumed to have a constant cross section along its whole length
Simple supports are assumed to be capable of holding down a member as well as
supplying support
All point loads are W in magnitude, and uniformly distributed loads are w in
magnitude
Draw the bending moment diagram on the tension side of the deflected shape
