to the statement. [Do/Dont in designing website]
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ARTICLE 1-
DONT BORE YOUR VISITOR
Topic 1- Creating an Interactive Website
Article 1 suggested that a good website must be able to capture
viewers interests in continue reading it without confusing them. In
order to attract viewers, a good website should be interactive, by
allowing the viewers involvements. For example, a good website
could include creative objects or contents, and ask the viewers to
think about it.
We AGREE that making the viewers involve is a good way to keep
them interested when browsing a website. An interactive website
able to attract more viewers as people are generally interested in
thinking and sharing their thoughts to the others. There are many
ways in making an website interactive, including sending feedbacks,
giving viewpoints, thinking solutions for a problem, voting, and so
on. In conclusion, viewers will not get bored when they are
thinking, involving, or participating.
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 1) - PART 1
In order to keep viewers on site, a website should keep the viewers
involved. Hence, viewers would feel that they are parts of the site.
For example, a website could include a column for the viewers to
give their feedbacks, suggestions or viewpoints on how to make
things better. Interacting with the viewers will make them feel that
the creator of the websites do care about them.
Danny (2013) stated that As a reader of Think Traffic, you know
that its about more than just any old traffic; you need visitors that
are loyal, that care about what youre doing, and that spreads the
word.
Asking the viewers to do something is a good way if you want
readers to stick around on your website. For example, ssuggest
readers to check out a specific related post and encourage the
viewers to leave comments at the end of the websites or posts.
(Siu, 2013).
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
In addition, giving the viewers some tasks to be completed, such as
viewing, comparing, and figuring out, which could also keep the
audiences on site. For example, if it was a product selling website,
viewers have a task on learning about the product sell, figuring out
what it is for, the use of the service and so on.
According to Peep (2012), every one of us are living in a world of
short attention spans. Attention span refers as the amount of time
where an individual can concentrate on a thing without getting
distracted by things around. Therefore, to keep viewers interests
on the site, you must let them concentrate on thinking and active
their mind with a task on the site.
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Setting some games and rewards is another way to catch the
viewers attention and interest in staying longer in a website.
Most people like to play and compete. Once viewers started and get
interested in playing a game, an unexpected prize will keep them
continue viewing till the end, it can also increase the emotional of
viewers in which they can assert their excellence. (Danny, 2013).
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Besides that, an interactive website might include setting rankings
and comparisons. A good example will be setting a poll on the site
to allow viewers voting, and in the same time, avoiding them from
getting bored especially when there are only texts and graphics on
the site.
Danny (2013) stated that rankings and comparisons could increase
the interest of viewers to think and see which option is better. It
also give people the opportunity to make their opinions known, and
have a say in what the outcome of an event.
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Peep (2012) claimed that to keep viewers attention, novelty site will
gravitated our mind. It is not only appears to be essential need of
the mind but also experience to capture viewers attention. Novel
means unknown, and what is unknown demands attention of our
brain. Once the new thing is known and understood, then we look
to find another unknown to master.
Therefore, presenting novelty could keep viewers attention
sustained and think about what it is.
Last but not least, creating social media contests on site could also
increase the interest of viewers to read about the terms and
conditions and think about whether they will be benefit in the
contest and what they really want. (Peep, 2012).
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 1) - PART 3
Example 1: Fly FM
website
[www.flyfm.com.my]
which have a site page
for viewers to join for
contest. It allow viewers
to think and answered
few question and they
could win awesome
gifts from them. (Fly
FM, 2014).
Example 2: Mwave website
[http://mwave.interest.me ] which have
a talk site and poll which allows viewers
to think of a topic and have a discussion
or present their own opinions with
other users to keep them on site, or
rate on certain topic. (Mwave, 2014).
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 1) - PART 3
Example 3: Penny Juice
website
[http://www.pennyjuice.com
/htmlversion/whoispj.htm] is
a boring website and readers
will not stay long in the site
as it contains only words, in
which the viewers could not
interactive or involve in the
website. In addition, the
colour selection and the
navigations are poor in this
website as well. (Penny Juice,
2014).
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 1) - PART 3
ARTICLE 1-
DONT BORE YOUR VISITOR
Topic 2- Creating a Functional Website
Article 1 also suggested that a good website design have to be well
functional. The files and graphics in the website should download
quickly to avoid viewers from feeling bored while waiting until the
content is fully loaded. Secondly, the text should be easy and clear
to read to avoid viewers feeling uncomfortable while reading the
content. Next, the navigation of each web site have to be clear and
straightforward. Most viewers dislike to be in confusing state when
they are trying to find some information, hence it is best to make
navigation straight to the point.
We AGREE that the functional of a website is very important to
keep viewers interested. Viewers dislike getting bored, they love to
get or achieve their needs fast, accurate and clear.
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 2) - PART 1
Glenview (2012) suggested that every components of a website
should work quickly and correctly to avoid viewers frustrated and
disillusioned by broken or poor constructed components in a
website. In addition, users of a website would wish to get accurate
information in a short amount of time. A critical, but often
overlooked of a successful website is its degree of usability. A good
website must be easy to read, navigate, and understand.
Furthermore, a successful website must be fast, simple, easy, and
organized. The contents and navigations have to be straight to the
point in order to attract viewers and keep them stay on the site
once they visited the website. Viewers who visited any website
would wish to know where they are, what its about and why its
worth to see as fast as possible. (Alan, 2014).
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
Besides that, Bluejay (2001) proposed that there are few main
elements to keep viewers attention on the site. First is simplicity, in
which readers would feel comfortable reading it without any
confusing. Secondly is the fast-loading pages where a viewer will
lost their patience when a page have to load more than a minute.
Last but not least is the readable of content. Article or words on the
site have to be straight to point, clear and easy to read, it may cause
reader refuse to read if the text is too long and difficulty on reading
the text. Website that without all these basics elements will not be
able to attract viewers. For example, nothing is more annoying to
readers than waiting for a 300k graphic to load when it should be
only 20k instead. Therefore, compress the image files could also
reduce the time for loading the site, it may allow viewers to load
the site faster.
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
According to Siu (2013), no one might sit down and read an article
with 2000 words. To make a content more readable to reader, you
can:
(i) Cut paragraphs so that do not consists of more than five
sentences in the main point.
(ii) Use subheads to break up content into sections.
(iii) Bold or italicize main point.
(iv) Add bullet or numbered as in point form.
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
Example 1: Cosans
Coffee website
[http://cosans.com] is
an example of well
functional site where
the meets all the
element which are
easy to read and will
keep readers interest
in continue reading
and viewing the site.
(Cosans Coffee, 2014).
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 2) - PART 3
Example 2: Mamas
Cheesies website
[http://mamascheesies.
com/] is an example of
bad website as the text
are hardly readable due
to the background and
colour selection. In
addition, the texts are
all included in one
single paragraph
without any sub-
headings. Hence, the
readers could not spot
the main points at the
first glance. (Mamas
Cheesies, 2012).
ARTICLE 1 (TOPIC 2) - PART 3
ARTICLE 2-
DONT MAKE THEM WAIT
Topic 1- Simplicity
Based on the second article, the speed needed to load a websites is
actually a very important element that will affect the number of
viewers. The size of a web page will affects its speed. All the fancy
design including video, complicated colors, photos and graphics will
take more time to load the video and result in abandoned by the
viewers. The article claimed that, the designer of website have to
design the website by only using 216 colors. The size of web page
should not be larger than 50K in order to fulfill viewer needs and
patience. The most important intention of viewers to visit a website
is the information, they are not attracted by the graphics or designs.
We totally AGREE that the size of a website is affecting its speed,
which will then determine whether the website is fulfilling the
viewers needs and wants.
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 1) - PART 1
Nielsen (1993) suggested the 3 basic advices regarding response
times of a website.
(i) 0.1 second is about the limit for having the user feel that the
system is reacting instantaneously.
(ii) 1.0 second is about the limit for the user's flow of thought to
stay uninterrupted, even though the user will notice the delay.
(iii) 10 seconds is about the limit for keeping the user's
attention focused on the dialogue. For longer delays, users will
want to perform other tasks while waiting for the computer to
finish, so they should be given feedback indicating when the
computer expects to be done.
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Generally, the simpler the website, the more viewers it will be. For
example, Yahoo and Googles homepage has used less than 20
colors. There are only clear navigation, information and white
background. However, there are still a number of viewers will surf it
each time of the day. It is the same with Googles homepage too. It
shows that the most important elements to attract the viewers are
information and not the designs.
According to Vitaly (2008), the primary goal of site-design is the
keep-it-simple principle (KIS). Is rare to have users that on a site
to enjoy the design. In most cases, they are looking for information
despite the design. As such, a website should strive for simplicity
instead of complexity.
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Furthermore, by not using too much graphic design is also meant to
cut down the use of animated gifs. Animated gifs take a long time
to load and it could be very irritating although it helps to grab more
viewers. Thus, a great point to keep in mind when designing a
website is only use animated gifs when it is necessary. (Entheos,
2014).
Additionally, as much as possible, try to design your site only using
HTML. It could have great design too. Use tables, CSS Styles and
simple fonts to design your site, as it helps minimize the use of
animated gifs, Flash, bulky images and others . (Entheos, 2014).
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
However, Kathryn (2013) argued that websites can be fast even
with great design too. It claimed that the design will not affect the
speed if the designer did it well. There are 10 things to do in order
to speed up the site. The web designer has to minimize the HTTP
request, enable compression, reduce server response time, enable
browser caching and so on. The website would not be slow if the
designer did it well, a great design website could be load faster too.
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Example 1: Google
[https://www.google.com.my/?g
ws_rd=ssl] and Yahoo
us] load faster that McDonalds
website
[http://www.mcdonalds.com.my]
which used a lot of graphic
designs using the same amount of
time. (Google, 2014; Yahoo,
2014; McDonalds, 2014).
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 1) - PART 3
ARTICLE 2-
DONT MAKE THEM WAIT
Topic 2- Arrangement of Elements in a
Website
Article 2 suggested that other than the graphic design, the
arrangement of the elements will also affect the speed loading for
a web page. Despite from having less graphics design, the loading
speed could not be fast if the arrangement of the elements is bad.
Examples of the elements are CSS, Java Script, caching files and
others. This will affect the successfulness of the website too.
We AGREE that the arrangement of the elements in a website will
determine its loading speed.
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 2) - PART 1
Based on Ryan (2009), a fast loading web page will have the CSS on
the top and Java Script on the bottom. This is because it allows the
site to render the webpage while the images and scripts are still
loading. Thus, the page will be load faster and avoid dissatisfying
the viewers.
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
Furthermore, before the Java Script rendered, the pages will be
view as complete by the viewers. It helps to comfort and calm the
viewers while loading the others. This concept is actually same with
giving a sweet to a hungry child before the dinner is cooked; the
viewers will be having something to read while waiting for others to
load. This is also because the browsers will block rendering to avoid
having to redraw elements of the page. The main content of the
page will load before the secondary content. For example, the web
page will be loading the article first before loading the sidebar after
putting the CSS on the top and Java Script on the bottom. In most of
cases, users will face a white page until the page is loaded
completely. (Armin, 2012).
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
Example 1: The page
[http://webdesignledge
r.com/inspiration/30-
examples-of-excellent-
website-navigation]
which did not arranged
well appeared to be
blank page before it
completely loaded.
(Henry, 2010).
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 2) - PART 3
ARTICLE 2-
DONT MAKE THEM WAIT
Topic 3- Overly Fancy Widgets
Last but not least, Article 2 claimed that overly fancy widgets will
also affect the speed for loading a web page.
We AGREE that overly fancy widgets will slow down the speed of
loading a website. We believe that loading speed could be faster by
reducing the number of widgets.
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 3) - PART 1
There are many social media nowadays, such as Twitter, Facebook,
YouTube and so on. It caused some websites adding too much
widgets with the intention to provide more site leverage. However,
too much widget is actually affecting the loading speed and keep
the readers from coming back. One or two widgets that provide
your site leverage will be better than a bunch of widget that caused
the slow loading speed (SEO, 2014).
Deep (2014) further explained that this is because of widgets are
relying upon third party servers to load. Therefore, using lazy load
widgets could reduce the number of widgets and prevent the rest
of your page struggling to load.
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 3) - PART 2
Example 1: Alternativeto website
[http://alternativeto.net/software
/fancy-widgets/] that have more
widgets loads slower than
Simplesite website
[http://www.simplesite.com] with
lesser widgets. (Alternativeto,
2014; Simplesite, 2014).
ARTICLE 2 (TOPIC 3) - PART 3
(Have not completely loaded yet)
(It took only 0.2second to load)
ARTICLE 3-
FIND OUT WHAT COLORS
Topic 1- Interface and Psychology of
Colour
Article 3 suggested that the colour of the website is the main
concern when designing a website. A website will be boring or
chaotic if you did not choose a proper colour for your website.
We AGREE that colour is one of the important elements in
designing a good website. The colour will decide the overall
appearance for the website and also influence peoples perception
towards the designer, company or the product. Therefore, we
should pay close attention on choosing a right colour for the
website to make the website become more interesting. A right
colour selection will keep people attention and people will more
likely to recognize your website.
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 1) - PART 1
A website design must be able to influence peoples behaviour.
Different colour associated with different feeling. For example, pink
is a youthful femininity colour and it shows playful and innocence.
So, it is ideal for the website with feminine target audiences.
(Vandelay Design, 2013).
By contrast, blue is a colour of trust, peace, order and loyalty.
Hence, most of the big company using blue as the main colour in
their website such as Facebook, Twitter and Hotmail as it cultivate
the users trust. (Smith, 2014).
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Moreover, different genders will have different colour preferences.
For example, women do not like gray, orange and brown but they
like blue, purple and green. On the other hand, men do not like
brown, orange and purple but they like blue green and black (Smith,
2014).
Therefore, when choosing a colour for your website, you should
think about the colour preferences of the target audiences as well.
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Radwan (2011) suggested a general list of colour and its
psychological effects:
(i) Black reflects authority and power but it represent evil
notion for some people as well.
(ii) Red reflects energy, power and strength. It is an eye
catching colour and it will get attention from other
people. However, it will increase heart rates and people might
get irritated with this colour.
(iii) White reflects innocence and purity.
(iv) Green is a relaxing colour and helps to make our vision
become clear. A green website makes people feel relaxing
and unwinding.
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Radwan (2011) suggested a general list of colour and its
psychological effects:
(v) Yellowis an irritating colour. It makes people feel annoyed and
people will not spend time with a yellow website. However,
just like red, it could catch people attention.
(vi) Purple is a mixture of red and blue. Purple reflects elegance,
wealth and authority.
(vii) Blue represents calm, relax, loyal, and trustworthy. However,
blue could be depressing if it was over used.
(viii) Pink reflects innocence and kindness.
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Example 1: Facebook
[https://www.facebook.com/] and
Hotmail [http://www.hotmail.com/] used
blue as its main colour to reflects a sense
of trustworthy. (Facebook, 2014;
Microsoft, 2014).
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 1) - PART 3
Example 2: Seventeen
website
[http://www.seventeen.com/]
used pink colour as its main
colour as the website is
targeted on young women.
(Hearst Communication,
2014).
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 1) - PART 3
Example 3: AS-GrafiXs
website [http://www.as-
grafixs.de/] used black
colour as its main colour,
and it cover almost the
whole site. Hence, it looks
dull and boring. Thus,
viewers will not pay close
attention to it and might
not feel interested to
GrafiXs, 2011).
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 1) - PART 3
ARTICLE 3-
FIND OUT WHAT COLORS
Topic 2- Colour Selection
Article 3 also claimed that when designing a website, we should
avoid using too much of bright colour such as red and yellow and
only use in the area where you want the audiences to focus on.
Bright colour might get attention from the audiences but it will
makes peoples eyes tired and make them do not want to look at
your website for long time. Thus, we should avoid using eye fatigue
colour as the main colour in the website.
We AGREE with this statement in Article 3. In fact, too much of
bright colour in the website will make people feel annoyed and
people will not spend their time on that particular website. Poor
choice of colours will influence the viewers decision to continue
surfing a website or just close it.
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 2) - PART 1
Iordan (2012) claimed that when designing a website, colour
selection should be the first concern. We should avoid using eye
fatigue colours such as pairing blue and red, or blue and yellow
because these combinations of colours will cause our eye fatigue.
Using too much of bright colours on the website is not a good thing.
If you want visitors to keep at your page for long time then you
should avoid using too much of bright colour in your website.
(Colourcombos, 2013).
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
For example, generally, yellow is not a good choice of colour when
designing a website.
Yellow will not be the first colour that comes to our mind when
designing a website (Vandelay Design, 2013). In fact, yellow is an
irritating colour, it will increase the heart rates and enhance the
metabolism. (Radwan, 2011). In addition, yellow will make people
feel irritating and people will hard to pay attention on the website.
Therefore, we should use it wisely and only use it when necessary
(Smith, 2014).
Colourcombos (2013) suggested that using black colour as the
background colour could make a website stands out.
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
Example 1: Chleon website
[http://onepagelove.com/chleon] which used
yellow colour as its main colour, and
[http://www.rzent.co.nr/] which used red
colour as its main colour seems distracting and
viewers could not pay close attention to it.
(Chleon, 2014; Bodgan, 2014).
ARTICLE 3 (TOPIC 2) - PART 3
ARTICLE 4-
NAVIGATION
Topic 1- Links
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 1) - PART 1
Navigation is an important part in a website whether its a service
website or an informative website. Article 4 stated that a particular
website links should give the visitor an insight on where the link
will take them. The label of each link should also have the keyword
of what that particular link will lead users to. The company name or
logo should also be your link back to your home page. Link titles
improve the navigation usability for users even though it will take at
least 1 second for the user to be able to reach the page of the link
that users click. It is also important for users to know if they already
visited a page. It is frustrating to click on a link to bring the users
back to a page that they just visited. Blue is now the standard color
for unvisited links. Then purple as the visited or clicked link, as using
other colors will just create confusion. Using these blue and purple
colors will somehow increase users convenience and
understanding of a certain link whether its visited or not visited.
We AGREE that users want to know if they already visited a page.
Pioneers of the web made unvisited links blue as a standard color.
Whereas, purple for visited links as the color scheme for
links/navigation in a website. The reason why its made this way is
because it is easier for users to understand when they view a
particular website. Apart from that, label or name of a link is
important as users get to know where they are going especially
when it is a complicated website with many different categories and
pages.
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 1) - PART 1
Charlotte (2009) proposed that label of links must be short and
straight to the point with key words of where the link will bring or
lead the user to. If content cannot be found and read or does not
relate to the name of the link, that means that theres a zero value
to the label of the link. As the admin or the owner of the website
cannot hold the website in our hands. We have to put ourselves in
the users shoes/point of view. Navigation is like a road sign.
The label whether its the link or the title of the page must be on
top of each page on the website so viewers will know what is that
particular page all about & label on the link must be clear and
specific so visitor can know how he approached to your website or
the page that the visitor view. Therefore, a good website should
have a planned grouping and labeling. (Knight, 2011).
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Blue is used as the standard color for unvisited link in a website.
Red, green, or any other colors should not be the standard color of
unvisited link because those colors will affect color-vision
deficiency. Almost no one has a blue deficiency. Meaning, nearly
everyone can see blue and able to distinguish blue as a color
different from others. (Zeldman, 2013).
Ux (2014) further proved that blue is the standard color for
unvisited links and purple as the standard color for visited links
because it is easier for people who has color blind. We need darker
color than blue for visited links. It should look darker so they stand
out less.
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Last but not least, Miller (2014) claimed that color of the link is
important because it is a good idea to remind the viewers about
where they are. A good website should use blue and purple color as
unvisited or visited link standard colors because a website can use
that method to highlight the section a visitor is in. If the site has
more than one page per section, the button should be clickable so
users can use it to get back to the main page of that area.
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 1) - PART 2
Example 1: When search Taylors Lakeside on
Google website
[https://www.google.com.my/?gws_rd=cr,ssl&
ei=s_szVOvWMYWSuAT9jIJ4#q=taylors+lakesi
de], users will see the unvisited link in blue
colour (image 1). After visited the website, the
link will turns from blue to purple colour
(image 2). (Google, 2014).
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 1) - PART 3
(Image 1)
(Image 2)
Example 2: The
website
[http://www.yvettes
bridalformal.com/]
is a considered as a
bad website as the
links are in different
colours, and hence
viewers will get
distracted and
frustrated by looking
at the lines and
colours, and could
not know which link
has they visited.
(Bodgan, 2014).
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 1) - PART 3
ARTICLE 4-
NAVIGATION
Topic 2- Arrangement of A Website
Article 4 also suggested that you could not ensure that all visitors
will enter your site from your home page and proceed to click on
hyperlinks in an orderly fashion. So it means that the arrangement
is an important part of a website for users convenience. The name
or logo of your company along with a page name should be on top
of every page in your website. There should be no guessing of what
your website does for your visitor. The homepage should tell
answer where am I to the visitors and have the main contents of
what the website is all about. Contents should be clear and must be
on the right section of the layout. Important details should be
placed at the middle so viewers know that its the key content of
the website.
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 2) - PART 1
We AGREE that a good website should be arranged properly. We
agree that a website should answer the following questions of
where am I, where can I go from here and where was I already.
There should not be guessing of what a website does for the
visitors.
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 2) - PART 1
Navigation can be simple or complex. Navigation can vary so much
between websites. Therefore, we have to separate and know the
differences between primary and secondary navigation. Important
contents or keywords must be placed at the primary navigation
area or layout so that people can see it first. For example, if the
content about the company are not at the homepage then the
visitor will not know what is all the website about. (Charlotte,
2009).
Knight (2011) proposed that one important way to input on
structuring a site or navigation to reflect a visitors way of thinking
is by collecting input from card slots. Which means, a good website
should be organized. The content cannot be messy and all over the
place.
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
Navigation should be easy to find or see, and this could be done
through proper arrangement of a website. Users are impatient and
they are not going to stay at the website if the navigation is not
easy to find. Therefore, it will affect the companys website. (Miller,
2014).
Naldz (2012) stated that we have to arrange our website layout in a
manner that would be pleasing to the eyes and be a good aid for
reading. The reason of having a good website layout is a significant
aspect to avoid eye strain for the users. A website should place its
important elements above the fold, such as company logo and
company banner must be the main thing on the website which
means it has to be big and easy to notice. Apart from that, every
websites must have a proper alignment or layout arrangement.
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
Panda (2014) also claimed that company logo is an important
element on the layout arrangement of a website. Other than having
a good logo design, we must also know that the company logo must
be placed on top of the website layout. Reason is that we must
make the visitors know and to grab their attention. Logo of a
company should be on top of the website and should have an
immediate impact and hold the viewers attention.
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 2) - PART 2
Example 1: Dragon-i Malaysia website
[http://www.dragon-i.com.my/] and
Snowflake Malaysia website
[http://snowflake.com.my/] are
arranged properly, with the logo, home
button and important elements on the
top of the page. (Dragon-i, 2014; Asia
Snowflake Group, 2014).
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 2) - PART 3
Example 2:
Sushi Zanmai
website
[http://www.sup
ersushi.com.my/
] is a good
example of
having its logo
and banner on
the top of the
web page.
(Supersushi,
2011).
ARTICLE 4 (TOPIC 2) - PART 3
Example 3: MrBottles website
[http://www.mrbottles.com/ ] and
[http://www.raft.org/] are the example of not
having proper arrangement in its website,
navigation is all over the page, and the main page
simply has too many text than anyone would want
to read. The viewers might turn off the site as they
find it hard to read, they are not interested or they
might be confused on where to click to get their
information. (MrBottle, 2014; Bodgan, 2014).
