1. What does the data tell you when comparing ethnicity % of the district and/or building in relation to the state?
I have noticed that the district and school percentage is pretty low compared to WA state. It seems like my district does not
make up the maority of the ethnicity in the state. !"cept for White# I found that the percentages in the district and school was

actually higher than the percentage for WA $tate as a whole which makes sense but is kind of sad that there is not more
diversity in my practicum school.
%. What does the data tell you when comparing the demographics of the teacher to the demographic makeup of the students?
I noticed that there are very few teachers of different races in my school district. &sually below 1 percent where for the
students at least were higher in diversity. 'his tells me that the maority of teachers will find it difficult to relate and assist
students with other diversities. (( percent of the teachers are white which is a higher percentage than the students.
). *eview the Ade+uate ,early -rogress .A,-/ 0ata. What does the data tell you about how well the various groups of students
are doing in reading and math .number of yes# number of no# % of yes/total/?
'hey A,- states that only 1ispanics met the reading proficiency and no one met the math proficiency. 1owever2 only two or
more races and special education did not meet the participation goal of reading but again no one met the participation goal in
math. 'his tells me that the way we are teaching math needs to change drastically and reading needs to be adapted a bit to meet
everyone3s need so that they can meet the learning standards.
4. What other demographics/data do you think would be useful to know of your students? Any other comments .limitations/
present in the categories presented above? Anything in particular 5stand6out7 for you when reviewing this data?
I think it would be useful to know what different special needs the students have that did not meet the standard. Also how close
they were to meeting the goal to see how much of an adaptation is needed.
8. What are one or two items that really caught your eye?
What really caught my eye is the percentage of Alaskan natives are in administrations# I would have thought that it wouldn3t be
that high. Another thing is how no goals related to math was met# it makes me wonder why math instruction has not changed
already to help those students.
9. What +uestions do you have about this data?
TL 330 Equity Audit Name: Colby Gregory

It was a little hard to follow each link# especially when it was about teachers and administration. I also wonder about the data
of teachers and students that were not shown# does that mean that there are no teachers with that race or has the data ust not
been collected.
:. 1ow may this data impact your classroom3s teaching and learning?
'his data will show me how many diverse students I may have and that those students will most likely get all white teachers so
I need to change my teaching to help them learn to the best of their ability.
(. ;iven what you have already learned about <ulturally *esponsive 'eaching# how might this data be useful in your classroom
community?
'his will help me know how many and which type of races are at my school so that I can change my teaching to fit all students
and adapt them to fit diverse students with varied backgrounds.
