In the past Brandt has manufactured LM-3 AND LCM-2D Screens with the designation of LTP 1, 2, or 3 followed by the mesh size. This designation meant L = Linear motion, T = TBC (tensile bolting cloth 2 layered) and P = Panel, which steel perforated panel screen. The new screen design is a three layered screen mounted on a diamond back configuration.

To whom it May Concern Dear Valued Customers, This memo is to inform you of a change which we have made to our screen manufacturing technology. Please pass the following information on to your field operations. I, 2 or 3 which means 1``, 2`` or 3`` openings in the steel perforated panel. All of this was confusing the field personnel, when they were ordering the screens. Brandt has decided to simplify the screen designation and offer one type of screen for regular use. Our new screen design is a three layered screen mounted on a diamond back configuration. This eliminates the 1``, 2``, and 3`` panels. The three-layered mesh improves the performance of the shaker and results in longer screen life, which you, the customer want. Please refer to the list below, which cross-references the old type screens to the new Diamondback Plus screen.
