AerLinX Executive Summary

Overview
AerLinX is a Bay Area stealth startup focused on developing real time data and control services for residential energy
providers a $150 billion market in the midst of deregulation. AerLinXs disruptive cloud based e-platform provides
marketers in-depth understanding of customer usage to develop customized products that leverage AerLinX real time
control capabilities to reduce homeowners energy bills and increase energy marketer margins by over 30%. In
addition, marketers using AerLinX can profitably increase market share and expand the scope of their service offerings
to homeowners beyond energy.
Our initial meetings with leading energy marketers who serve over 10 million residential customers in North America
validated the AerLinX solution approach these marketers liked the AerLinX system as a low cost, modular, expandable
solution and want to conduct pilots to validate our product performance and cost claims.
Led by a CEO with deep utility/strategy expertise and by successful networking entrepreneurs, AerLinX will leverage our
technology architecture advantage in a new multi-billion dollar white-space market to provide compelling value
propositions coupled with low upfront costs for energy marketers and their customers.
AerLinX is raising a $5.0 million Series A round to complete product development, execute pilots and secure initial POs.
The AerLinX Product and Service offering


AerLinXs scalable, self-learning, expandable e-Platform has three principal components: its consumer friendly
apps for home owners, real time cloud based analytic and pricing services to energy marketers and its multi-
protocol AerBox that facilitates modular expansion into new applications around the home.
Our AerCloud will provide energy marketers analytic insights into energy use by homeowners to aid in developing
attractive customized new products that are both highly competitive and very profitable. In addition, energy
marketers have access to hourly load balancing models and demand response options with the capability to
aggregate residential customers as desired. AerLinX will work with energy marketers to package our starter
system (AerBox + thermostat as needed) into customized multi-year contracts with homeowners. AerLinX also
offers homeowners convenient, hassle-free and optimized control of daily tasks like temperature adjustments,

The Market
Our target customers are energy marketers in deregulated states like TX, NY, PA, NJ, MA, CT etc. In addition we
plan to sell to non-profit energy providers (munis and coops) who face peak power and energy efficiency
challenges. Over 45MM residential customers are served by these groups. Energy marketers can package our
system and services to acquire and retain customers (customer acquisition costs typically exceed $100) while also
improving margins. Energy marketers are actively looking for low cost, versatile solutions that solve these issues.
AerLinX Approach
We are building a best of breed solution that includes a robust and reliable AerCloud with pricing and
optimization models, consumer friendly AerApps with rapid upgrade and refresh capability and a suite of custom
new product development analytics for energy marketers.
AerLinX will use a SaaS business model with energy marketers and provide periodic analytic services to marketers
and daily control services to optimize homeowner energy usage based on their individual preferences and pricing
plans.
AerLinX plans to locate its development offices in the Bay Area and in India. We plan to have a small field sales
force to build close relationships with energy marketers and coops/munis in targeted states.
The Founding Team
CEO: Ananth G Ananthasubramaniam, a utility corporate VC with deep knowledge of energy technologies and
utility practices. Served as board member of several start-ups in energy space. Engineering background and top
10 MBA. Strategy consultant in Booz & Co. to industries in transition.
President: Shiri Kadambi, a serial entrepreneur with over 50 patents in networking and technology; founder, Chief
architect of Maverick Networks sold to Broadcom; Co-founder, President, CEO of SiNett.
VP Software: Shekhar Ambe, a serial entrepreneur with 84 patents; founder, CEO of Parallocity, CTO SiNett
Strategic Advisor and Director: Ven Venkatesh, a serial entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Maverick Networks.
Has been EIR at Mayfield and USVP as well as on the Board of several successful technology startups.
Timeline and Milestones
AerLinX has completed its AerBox Alpha product including AerApps (Gen1) running on IOS and Android; we are
developing our AerBoard design and AerCloud analytics with a targeted pilot in six months.
The Ask
AerLinX is now seeking a Series A funding of $5 million build out our core products, AerCloud, AerBox, AerApps
and to execute two pilots with energy partners and to secure initial POs within 12 months.
