4. Why are the animals given antibiotics? What is the problem with this? Disease, they create super diseases that are immune
to the antibiotics
5. What is happening to family farms? They are being overrun by big businesses
The Meatrix II: Revolting
1. What has happened in regards to sustainable eating in the past few years? People have realized what they are eating, its
increasing
2. What happens to cows in dairy factories? Their tails are cut off, babies separated from mothers
3. What is rBGH? Why is it given to cows? Artificial growth hormone, it makes them produce more milk
4. What happens to the calves? Fed a milk replacer which gives them more nutrients to grow larger
5. What can be caused by this? Mad cows disease can be given.

rows of mixed vegetable crops that most Americans imagine. These consolidated operations are able to
produce food in high volume but have little to no regard for the environment, animal welfare, soil and water
quality, or food safety. In order to maximize profits, industrial agriculture often trades the health of
consumers and rural communities, as well as the nutritional quality of the product, for an economy of scale
through consolidation and mechanization.
9. Processing- After cows can no longer give meat they are sent to slaughter houses.
10. Workers- Low paid, hazardous working conditions, some have even died on the job.
11. Downer cows- Dead, may have diseases by flies.
12. Pesticides- residue that is in the fat of the animals tissue

That its completely harsh. Cows arent milked by hand. To teach you whats happening and put a stop to it. Probably, they may
gross you out enough to make sure youre eating something that hasnt been mistreated or anything bad.
