The apprehension of suspects Marcelo Marquez & Janelle Marquez Monroy and the ongoing
investigation has been a collaborative law enforcement effort.
Leaders from the primary agencies involved will announce the charges filed against Marquez
and Monroy. The case will be a joint prosecution by the Sacramento County and Placer County
District Attorneys Offices throughout the court process.
