As always, you ran a fantastic meeting. I really do appreciate the attention to detail you
always focus on along with the "fun" you infuse in each meeting. Feel free to use me to
wear a funny hat or something in the future. I also want to thank you for all the support
and chats over my first couple years. I know I took some of your very precious time and
I want you to know I truly appreciated it.
You are the best!

Subject: WASC MAE Program Review eVisit
Hello SOE,

As you know, we had a full-day WASC Program Review external eVisit for our Master of Arts in
Education program yesterday. The oral report from the external reviewers at the end of the day
indicated that they evaluated this program as Exemplary. Of course they provided feedback on areas
to improve which we will review in our curriculum team/faculty meetings, but to receive the highest
accolades from the team is certainly quite an achievement that we should be proud of.

Special thanks go out to Kathy Theuer in her role as Director of Accreditation, Lynn Larsen the Associate
Dean who oversees this program, and to the MAE Writing/Data team Annie Hough-Everage (CT CHAIR),
Bill Hale, Peggy Laughlin and Carla Piper for their outstanding work on the development of the program
assessment and program review documents.

Congratulations team! - christine

Hi Ladies,
Good news.It looks like we finally got feedback for the ECSEAA. All standards are aligned! We have a
few things to submit before January 15th so we can get final approval from the COA at their February
7th meeting (See Gays comments below). They also made one comment on Standard 3 that the team
needs to take into account before the site visit (see attachments).

Way to go team!!

I am attaching the feedback for your ECSEAA program document. All standards have been deemed to
be aligned by the IPR reviewers!

However, before your program document can be considered for final approval by the Committee on
Accreditation, you must electronically submit the following documents prior to January 15, 2012 for
posting on the February 7, 2013 COA agenda.

1) A 4-5 sentence descriptive paragraph about your program.
2) A final document that incorporates any changes you have made in response to reviewer
feedback. This final document will be kept at the Commission on Teacher Credentialing
in an electronic archive.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know. And have a great weekend!

I Kathy,

Yes, I have been collecting them and have hard copies, but haven't submitted them into the
Dropbox as of yet. Also, the hard copy assessment reports I had given you yesterday was
missing Assessment #6 and inadvertently have two copies of Assessment #3. I'll resend,
electronically the entire set to ensure there weren't any other missing pages. I will also develop
an assessment page for EDAU 679 which is associated with the outgoing EDAU 676.

Great meeting yesterday, Kathy. You made the tasks fun which is no easy feat...much

Hello SOE -

Thank you all for your active participation in the faculty meetings these past few days. Yes, certainly
tedious at times, but so important as we move our lofty accreditation goals forward and as we continue
to focus on program improvement. A BIG thank you to Kathy Theuer who so brilliantly coordinates
our accreditation activities and tasks and provides us with fun themes and challenges to make the tasks
less tedious. You are certainly a gem Kathy!!

As always, your feedback is important to me as we always try to improve meeting time aspects that are
within our control so if you would complete the following Survey Monkey to highlight activities that you
would like for us to START STOP and CONTINUE doing I would appreciate it.

Take care and safe travels home! - christine

Congratulations, CTEL team! CTC has confirmed that all of our standards are now preliminarily
aligned! I truly appreciate all of your extra efforts in ensuring that our resubmission was top-notch.
Many thanks to Kathy for leading us through this process and providing the guidance and work needed
for this positive result.
