For writing, 3 grade teachers have been giving students on-demand writing opportunities using MEAP prompts during the 12-13 school year, including an extra focus on the
peer editing prompt as across the district (4th and 7th) grade scores are very low in that particular area (it also fits right in with the mathematical practice of "critique the work
of others. Their prompts can be found on the x-drive under grade level information-3rd grade-writing-theme papers.
Your PLC can use the daily homework sheets under the x-drive under grade level information-3rd grade-daily homework. Cold reads and comprehension questions with those
are also recommended for prep for any standardized test.
