To Whom It May Concern:

As an educator it is essential to develop and maintain a learning environment that not
only creates a thirst for knowledge but ultimately results in students becoming lifelong learners.
In order to ensure lifelong interest in learning, I believe in maintaining relevance to the outside
world, cooperative learning, and equality within the classroom. These are the goals that have
helped to exemplify my abilities as a leader and a mentor.
Over the past eight years I have had several authentic experiences working with and
teaching children. With the knowledge I have obtained, I have found that the use of creativity,
motivation, and dedication play a leading role in promoting student achievement and
involvement. The use of technology and implementation of differentiated teaching strategies
have allowed me the ability to reach out to all styles of learners. Life experiences and
professional development, have taught me that teaching is not just a job but indeed a gift. I
hope you not only recognize this gift within me but allow me to share it with the children of our
future.

Sincerely,
Mandy Ybarra!
