We are ONE96!
Local Schools Levy Vote
Tuesday, November 2, 2010
Information Campaign Liaison-Gary Anger, 651-423-7810
Communications Team and Principal To-Do List/October 2010:

1.

Recruit volunteer callers for the 7-9 p.m. shifts at the DSC. We could use callers at that time for
any night, Monday through Thursday. Forward any names to me and I will get them scheduled and
notified. I will send out a district-wide recruiting message for this as well. These are informational
calls only. As employees of District 196 we can provide information about the levy, we cannot tell
citizens how to vote. Employees may advocate on their own personal time, however.

2.

The required legal notice will be mailed first class the week of October 11 to all property owners in
the district (as required by state law). The backpack flyer that was originally planned to be sent home
on October 1 will be combined into the required legal notice. In lieu of these flyers, we will send
you a new list serve message to send by October 8.

3.

The Get-Out-the-Vote backpack flyer (which you have not yet received) should be sent home
on Thursday, October 28. An additional list serve message will be provided to you prior to that date.

4.

A School Connects phone message will go out as an additional Get Out the Vote message this
month. We will send you details about this prior to the message.

5.

Stay tuned for other ways in which we may need your help including the possibility of literature
drops in late October.
