1Membership&dues
1.1Newmembers
1.1.1NewmembersmaybeadmittedonlytotheFlyingandCFImembershipclass.
1.1.2Newmembersareconsideredforadmissionaftermakingasignedapplicationtotheclubon
officialformsprovidedforthatpurpose,andpayingonemonthsduesasspecifiedintheSchedule
ofFees.
1.1.3AllnewmembershipsaresubjecttothereviewandapprovaloftheChiefCFI.IntheeventtheChief
CFIrejectsanapplicationformembership,anyunusedaccountbalanceshallberefunded,lessany
specifiedprocessingcost,andmembershipincentivecredits.
1.2Changeinmembershipstatus
1.2.1Allcommunicationsregardingmembershipstatusshouldbesentviaemailto
falconflighttraining@gmail.com
1.2.2Memberswhowishtochangetheirclassofmembershipmustsubmitanemailrequesttothe
club.AllchangesofmembershipclassaresubjecttoreviewandapprovaloftheChiefCFI.
1.2.3Currentmembersoftheclubmaychangetheirmembershipclassbymakingarequestfora
changeofclass,subjecttothereviewandapprovaloftheChiefCFI.Amembermaynotrequesta
secondchangeofclassduringaperiodof3monthsfollowingachangeofmembershipclass.A
membermay,however,requesttorescindthechangeofclassduringthatperiod,providedthey
remitappropriatebackduesandfees.Innoeventwillamemberberefundedfeesaftera
rescissionofclasschange.
1.2.4Membersmayterminatetheirmembershipintheclubbynotifyingtheclubviaemail(section
1.2.1)andsatisfyingallremainingdebtsandobligationstotheclub.
1.2.5Anymoneysondepositwillberefundedtothememberinatimelymanner,followingverification
thatalldebtstotheclubhavebeensatisfied,andallclubpropertyreturnedingoodcondition.Onlyactual
fundsdepositedwiththeclubwillberefunded,incentivesoradditionalflyingfundsprovidedbytheclubare
nonrefundable.
1.3Accuratecontactinformation
1.3.1Itistheresponsibilityofeachmemberwithflyingprivilegestomaintaincurrentphonenumber,
postaladdressandemailaddressonfilewiththeclub.Iftheclubisunabletocontactamembervia
theinformationonfile,themembershallbeprovidedagraceperiodof6weekstoinformthe
clubofthechangeviaemail(falconflighttraining@gmail.com).Attheconclusionofthegraceperiod,ifthe
clubremainsunabletocontactthemember,thatmemberisexpelledandallmoneysondepositwiththe
clubareforfeit.

1.4CFImembers
1.4.1ApplicationsforadmittancetoCFIclassofmembershipshallbeconsideredbythe
ChiefCFIuponrequest.TheChiefCFImayrefusesuchanapplicationforanyreason.
1.5Dues&account
1.5.1MembersmustpaymonthlyduesaccordingtotheScheduleofFees(section10).Alldues
paymentsaredueonthefirstdayofthemonth.
1.5.2Membersmustkeepanonnegativeaccountbalancewiththeclubandpayalldebtsinatimely
fashion.Foraccountswithoutavalidcreditcardonfile,theminimumbalancemaintainedshallbe$200.
1.5.3Amember,whoatanytimeisinarrearsinexcessofonemonthsdues,shallbefinedanamount

specifiedintheScheduleofFees.RepeatedoffensesshallbeprocessedinaccordwithRules
Enforcement.Memberswhokeeppositiveaccountbalancesthroughblockpaymentsorother
arrangementsmaybegivennomorethanoneweekgraceperiodbeforeincurringthefine.
1.5.4Amemberwhoseaccountisinarrearsisnotamemberingoodstanding,andmaynotexercise
anyprivilegesofmembership,includingtheuseofclubaircraftandparticipationinclubevents.
1.5.5FalconFlightCenterflyingcluboperatesundertherulesoftheMichiganAeronauticalCode,
specificallysection259.91stipulatingthattheclubwillnotchargerentalfeesinexcessofwhatisneededto
maintaintheaircraftanditsoperation,andalsothatanyandallprofitsderivedfromoperationsoftheaircraft
willbesharedequallyamongstthemembersoftheclub.

1.6Participationrequirements
1.6.1MembersofFlyingclassareexpectedtoparticipateinatleast3clubactivitiesperyear.This
includesclubsocial,promotional,flightsafety,flightoperationsandmaintenanceactivities.
1.6.2CFImembersarerequiredtoparticipateintheregularmeetingsoftheFlight
InstructionorMaintenanceCommittees,andtoperformregularservicetotheclubasrequested
bytheChiefCFI,theChiefCFI,ortheDirectorofMaintenance.

2Airport&groundrules
2.1Generalofficerules
2.1.1Clubcomputersareforthepurposeofinstruction,flightplanningandscheduling.Personaluse
shouldbebriefandnotinterferewithcluboperations.
2.1.2Noclubmembershallmakechangestotheconfigurationofanyclubcomputerunlesspermission
isobtainedfromthecomputercoordinatorsdesignatedbytheChiefCFI.
2.1.3KeystoanyclubaircraftorfacilitymaynotbecopiedwithouttheapprovaloftheChiefCFI.
2.1.4Nomembershallinterferewiththenormaloperationsofthecluborofaircraftmaintenanceat
anytime.
2.1.5Nomembershallengageinanyillegalactivitywhileusingclubaircraftorfacilitiesorwhileonclub
premises.Membersshallconductthemselvesatalltimesinanappropriateandresponsible
manner.
2.1.6Memberswillbeexpectedtocontrolguests.Guestswillbeescortedbyaclubmemberwhenever
theyareontherampareaorinhangars.
2.1.7Memberswillbeexpectedtocomplywithairportpoliciesregardingsecurityandgateaccess.

2.2Refueling
2.2.1Ifpossible,aircraftmustbegroundedduringallrefuelingoperations.
2.2.2Laddersshouldbeusedforallrefuelingoperations.
2.2.3Thefuelnozzlemustnotbewedgedwithinthewing,andmustbeheldinamannerthatnopart
ofthehoseornozzleisrestingontheaircraft.Rubberrefuelingmatsshouldbeusedwhenever
possible.
2.2.4Fuselageandwingstrutstepsshouldnotbeusedbymembersoranyotherparty,unlessno
ladderisavailable.
2.2.5Fuelpurchasedoffsiteshouldberecordedinaseparatelineintheactivitylog

2.3Afterflightcleaning
2.3.1Theleadingedgesofthewings,stabilizers,struts,windshieldsandlandinggearlegsmustbe
cleanedofbugsanddirt,attheendofeachflight.
2.3.2Aircraftmustbecleaned,regardlessofthestateinwhichtheaircraftwasreceived.Failuretodo
socanresultinafineasenumeratedintheScheduleofFees.
2.3.3Onlythosecleaningfluidsandmaterialsthatareclubapprovedwillbeusedtocleanaircraft.

Approvedfluidsare1)waterand2)afluidmixof90%waterand10%liquidJoydetergent.
2.3.4Onlyclubsuppliedclothtowelsaretobeusedtocleanwindshieldandairframe.Useonlyafresh,
cleanmicrofiberclothtocleanthewindshield.Papertowelsareonlytobeusedforcheckingoil.
2.3.5Aircraftandhangarsshallbeleftinaneatandorderlycondition.Seatbeltsshallbefastened,
unlesstheaircraftisequippedwithanairbagsystem.

2.4Parking/securing
2.4.1Anymaintenancediscrepanciesmustbepromptlyreportedviaemailtofalconflighttraining@gmail.com
Thenextpilottoflytheaircraftentruststheirwellbeingtocompleteandaccuratereporting.
2.4.2Aircraftmustbeplacedinahangaratthehomeairport,orproperlytieddownwhenawayfrom
thehomeairport.Pilotsareresponsibleforanyfeesassociatedwithsecuringanaircraftoffsite.
2.4.3Hangardoorsmustbeshutunlessthenextmemberispresenttoaccepttheaircraft.
2.4.4Whentaxiingunderpowertoahangar,aircraftmustbestoppedata90angletothehangar.
Aircraftmaynotbeturnedunderpowersoastoaimpropblastattowardthehangar.
2.4.5Aircraftdoorsshallalwaysbeclosedandlatchedwhentheaircraftisparked.Windowsmayonly
beleftopenwhentheaircraftishangaredorparkedattheclubramp.
2.4.6Parkingbrakesandgustlocksshouldbesetinaccordancewiththespecificaircraftschecklists.
2.4.7Whendaytimetemperaturesarebelow40F,membersshallensurethatTanisheatersare
pluggedin.Iftheheaterhasnotbeenrunning,membersmustpreheattheenginebeforestarting,
inaccordancewiththeoperatinghandbook.

3Flightscheduling
3.1Crosscountryflights
3.1.1Reservationsinvolvinguseofanaircraftforgreaterthan5hoursareconsideredacrosscountry
flight.Crosscountryflightsmaybescheduledanytimeviaemailtofalconflighttraining@gmail.com
3.1.2CrosscountryflightsmustbeapprovedbythedesignatedCrossCountryManager.
3.1.3AircraftdesignatedbytheChiefCFIastrainingaircraftmayhaveadditionalrestrictionsoncross
countryuse.
3.1.4CrossCountryflightsmaybechargeaminimumhobbstimeof2.5hrs/dayonweekdaysand3.5
hrs/dayonweekends.
3.1.5Fuelpurchasesoncrosscountryflightswillbereimbursedtothememberintheformofanaccount
creditandwillbereimbursedatthepergallonamountofthelastfueldeliverytotheclubstank.

3.2Reservations
3.2.1Forthepurposesofinstructionorstudentsoloflights,primarytrainingaircraftaretobe
consideredinterchangeable.AclubCFI,clubofficer,ortheirdesigneemaymoveastudent
membertoanotheraircraftofthesamemodelthatisavailableinthesametimeslot.
3.2.2Amembershallcancelareservationassoonaspossibleafterdeterminingthereservationwillnot
beused,evenifthecancellationisduetopoorweather.
3.2.3Amemberwhoismorethan15minuteslatefortheirreservationforfeitstheirscheduledrightto
theaircraftandmaybechargeduptohalfoftheestimatedtotalbill.
3.2.4Membersmaynotabusetheschedulingsystembyreservingaircraftwithoutflyingsoastokeep
anaircraftavailableattheirconvenience.
3.2.5Anyonewhoschedulesaflightwiththeclubandchoosestocanceltheirflightwithlessthan72hours
writtennoticetotheclubviafalconflighttraining@gmail.com,willeithera)bechargeduptohalfoftheregular
rateoftheaircraftandinstructorforthescheduledtime,orb)iftheflightwasscheduledatadiscountedrate,
forfeittheentireamountofthevoucher,giftcertificate,orotherpaymentfortheflight.

3.2.6Onceaflightisscheduledthevoucherisconsideredusedandwillnotberefundable.Flightsmaybe
canceledforanyreason,includingweather,determinedbythePilotorChiefCFIandcanberescheduledat
noadditionalcostifthecancellationisthedecisionoftheChiefCFIorflyingPilot.Flightswillnotbe
refundedifthecancellationisduetoweather,onlyrescheduledforafuturedate.

3.3Aircraftreturn&repairs
3.3.1Ifanaircraftcannotbereturnedasscheduled,theclubofficeshallbenotifiedassoonas
practical.Thepilotshallmakeallreasonableattemptstogetback,butshallnotattemptanyflight
exceedingthepilot'scompetenceorinviolationofoperatingrules.Theclubmembershallobey
allinstructionsfromtheChiefCFIortheChiefCFIsagent,whichmayincludesurrenderingthe
aircrafttoanothermember.
3.3.2Incaseofdelays,pilotsshallalsomakeallreasonableeffortstocontactanymemberswhohavea
reservationinthedelayedaircraft.
3.3.3Ifforanyreasonthememberisunabletoreturntheaircrafttothehomeairport,themember
shallbeliableforallcostsassociatedwithreturningthataircrafttothehomeairport.
3.3.4IfaclubAircraftbecomesdisabledawayfromthehomeairport,themembershallimmediately
notifythecluboffice.UnlessgivenpermissionbytheDirectorofMaintenanceortheChiefCFI,
membersshallhavenopowerorauthorizationtoincuranycostsorauthorizeanyrepairson
behalfoftheclubortheaircraftownerinexcessof$100.Ifthedirectorofmaintenance,
ChiefCFI,ordesigneecannotbereached,smallrepairssuchastirereplacementmaybemadebya
certifiedA&Pmechanicinordertoreturntheaircrafttothehomeairport.

4Proficiency&currency
4.1Initialcheckout
4.1.1EachmembermusthaveacheckoutbyaclubCFIineverymakeandmodelofaircraftthe
memberwillfly.Themembermustdemonstratecompetenceinthefollowingareas:stalls,slow
flight,steepturns,emergencyprocedures,takeoffsandlandings,crosswindlandings,aircraft
systems,weight&balance,aircraftperformance,andotherairworkatthediscretionofthe
instructor.MemberperformancemustmeettherequirementsoftheFAAPracticalTestStandards
forPrivatePilots.
4.1.2Eachmembermustcompleteanaircraftcheckoutformprovidedbytheclubforeachmakeand
modelofaircraftthememberwillfly.Thatformmustbeenteredwithinstructorapprovalinthe
membersfile.

4.2Annualproficiencycheck
4.2.1EachflyingmemberisrequiredtocompleteanannualproficiencycheckwithaclubCFIinthe
mostcomplexclubaircraftthememberwishestofly.Recordofthischeckistobemadeinthe
memberslogbookandinthemembersfile.
4.2.2Flyingmemberswillnotneedanannualproficiencycheckifthatmemberhasflown15hoursormore
inthepast90daysinclubaircraft.

4.3Instrumentproficiency
4.3.1Toexerciseinstrumentprivileges,Instrumentratedpilotsmustcompleteaproficiencycheckride
withtheChiefCFIortheirdesigneeeverysixmonths.Thischeckridewillconsistofatleast1
precisionapproach,2nonprecisionapproachesand1holdingpattern,plusothermaneuversat
thediscretionoftheinstructor.Arecordofthisproficiencyshallbemaintainedinthemembers
file.

4.4CFIproficiency

4.4.1EachCFImemberisrequiredtoparticipateinongoingtrainingandproficiencytestingatthe
discretionoftheChiefCFI.Thisshallincludebutisnotlimitedtoanannualproficiencyand
standardizationprocedureconductedbytheChiefCFIortheirdesignee.TheChiefCFImayorder
remediationorsuspendtheinstructingprivilegesofanyCFImemberforfailuretomaintain
proficiencyorforotherdeficienciesincompetenceorinstruction.

4.5Currency
4.5.1Nomembershallactaspilotincommandofaclubaircraftunlessthememberhasmade9
takeoffsandlandingsandflown3hoursaspilotincommandintheprevious90daysinaclub
aircraft,orischeckedoutorsupervisedbyaclubCFIintheprevious90days.

4.6Nightcurrency
4.6.1Nomembermayundertakeaflightbetweensunsetandsunriseunlessthememberhasbeen
checkedoutfornightflightbyaclubCFIintheprecedingyear.
4.6.2Initialnightcheckoutshallincludenightcrosscountryflight,withatleast5landingsatremote
airport(s),plusotherairworkatthediscretionoftheclubCFI.Requirementsforrenewalofnight
currencyduringacheckoutmaybesetbytheFlightInstructionCommittee.

5Flightoperations
5.1Regulations
5.1.1Nopersonexceptanauthorizedoperatorshallbepermittedtooperateclubaircraft.
5.1.2Anauthorizedoperatorisamemberoftheclubwithaclassofmembershipthatpermitsuseof
clubaircraft,whomeetsallfederalandclubregulationsasapilot,includingcertificate,medical,
andcurrencyrequirements,whohasanonnegativeaccountbalancewiththeclub,andwhose
flyingprivilegeshavenotbeensuspendedorrevoked.Personswhoseflyingprivilegesare
restrictedinanywaybythecluborbytheFAAareauthorizedoperatorsonlywhenflyingwithin
thelimitsoftheapplicablerestrictions.
5.1.3AlloperationsofclubaircraftshallbeincompliancewithcurrentFederalAviationRegulations,
andallapplicablefederal,state,local,andforeignlaw.

5.2Ground&preflight
5.2.1Nooneshallbeallowedtoenterorexitanaircraftwhiletheengineisrunning.
5.2.2Aircraftshallnotbestartedbyhandpropping.
5.2.3Priortoeachflight,apreflightinspectionasdescribedinthePOHshallbeperformed.
5.2.4Sufficientfuelshallbecarriedforallflights,includingatleastonehourofreserve.
5.2.5OilquantitymustbecheckedandfilledinaccordancewiththePOHandclubchecklists.
5.2.6JumpstartsrequiretheassistanceorsupervisionofaclubMechanic,clubCFI,orclubofficer.

5.3Operatinglimits
5.3.1Aircraftmaynotbeflownoutsidethemanufacturer'slimitationsasspecifiedinthePOHorin
violationofinsurancepolicyrestrictions(seesection9).
5.3.2Atnotimeisanaircraftenginetobeshutoffinflight,exceptinanemergency.
5.3.3Noflightsoverwateroutsideglidingdistancefromlandmaybeundertakeninasingleengine
aircraft.
5.3.4OnlypilotswhohaveinstrumentcurrencyaccordingtotheclubOperatingRulesmayoperatean
aircraftinVFRontopconditions.

5.4Weather
5.4.1Noflightsintoknownicingconditions,thunderstorms,orotherseriousweatherhazardsshallbe
attempted.

5.4.2NospecialVFRtakeoffsarepermittedexceptfortrafficpatternworkatthehomeairportwiththe
approvalofaclubCFI.
5.4.3Noflightshallbemadeunlesstheweatherconditions,inthejudgmentofthepilot,aresuchthat
theflightposesnoriskgiventhepilotsabilityandrecentexperiencewithsuchconditionsand
withtheaircraft.
5.4.4Noflightshallbemadeunlessweatherconditionsalongtherouteareforecasttoremainator
above50%greaterthanthestandardVFRorIFRminimums,orotherminimumssetforthbytheChiefCFI.

5.5Windlimits
5.5.1UnlessotherwiseauthorizedbyaclubCFI,nomembermayoperateanaircraftwhenthewind,
gusts,orcrosswindcomponentexceedsthevaluesspecifiedbytheclubforthetypeofaircraft
flown.Thesevaluesaremaximums.ClubCFIsmayassessindividualstudentlimits.Flightinexcess
oftheselimitsforallpilotsmustbewiththeexplicitapprovalofaclubCFI.

5.6Lights
5.6.1Strobelightsshallbeusedinallflightconditions,unlessthebackscatterproducesadisorienting

5.6.2Strobelightsshallbeturnedonjustpriortotakeoff,andturnedoffafterexitingtherunway.Care
shouldbetakentoensurestrobelightsareturnedoffturingnighttaxioperations.Thisrulemay
beexemptedfromcertainaircraftinclubchecklists.
5.6.3Landinglightsshallbeusedwheninflightvisibilityis4milesorless,duringmaneuvering,whilein
thetrafficpattern,andwhenarrivingordepartingaterminalarea.

5.7Rejectedlanding/goarounds
5.7.1Agoaroundshallbeaccomplishedwhenever:
Abnormalmaneuversorabnormalpowerapplicationsarerequiredduringapproachtoa
landingatorbelow500'AGL.
Iftheaircrafthasnottoucheddowninthefirst1/3oftheuseablerunwaylength.
Iftheaircraftcannotbelandedwiththecenterlineinsidethemainlandinggear.
Anytimethecontinuedsafetyoftheapproachandlandingisindoubt,asdeterminedbythe
pilotincommand.

5.8Stopandgooperations
5.8.1Stopandgooperationsarepermittedwhentheaircrafttouchesdownwithinthefirst1/3ofthe
useablerunwaylength,andtheaircraftmusthave150%ofthedistancerequiredtotakeoffand
cleara50obstacle,asdeterminedbythePOHforcurrentconditions.

6Instruction
6.1.1AllflightinstructioninclubaircraftshallbeperformedbyaclubCFIinconformancewithflight
instructionsyllabiapprovedbytheFlightInstructionCommittee.Thisexpresslyprohibits

instructionfromCFIratedpilotswhohavenotbeenapprovedbytheChiefCFI.

6.2CFIassignment
6.2.1OnceaclubCFIhasacceptedastudentforthepurposesoftraining,theCFIthenacceptsall
responsibilityforthatstudentinregardstotheirtrainingandisdesignatedastheirSupervising
CFI.
6.2.2NootherclubCFImayflywithastudentpilotwithoutpriorpermissionbythestudents
SupervisingCFIortheChiefCFI.
6.2.3WhenthereistobeapermanentchangeofastudentsSupervisingCFI,theSupervisingCFIwill
contacttheChiefCFIwhowillapproveordisapprovetherequest.
6.2.4StudentsshouldnotgodirectlytoanotherCFIandmakeanassignmentchangerequest
changesshouldgothroughtheSupervisingCFIordirectlytotheChiefCFI.

6.3Initialsupervisedsolos
6.3.1Aninitialsoloisdefinedasthefirstsoloflight,orthefirstsoloflightwherethestudenthasnot
flown(dualorsolo)inthelast6months.
6.3.2Subsequenttotheinitialsoloflight,theSupervisingCFIwillflynofewerthan3takeoffand
landingsforeachofthenext2flightsthatthestudentistoflysolo.
6.3.3UnlesstheSupervisingCFIdeemsotherwise,anysoloflightsaftertheseinitial3flightscanbe
dispatchedbythesupervisingCFIwithoutdualflightpriortothesoloflight.

6.4Allsupervisedsolos
6.4.1Priortoeverystudentsoloflight,thestudentmusthavesecuredspecificapprovalfortheflight
fromtheirinstructororfromanotherdesignatedclubinstructor.
6.4.2AtthecompletionoftheflightthestudentwillinformtheirSupervisingCFI(ortheirdesignee)
thattheyareontheground.
6.4.3Priortodepartureforasolocrosscountryflight,astudentwillhavetheirSupervisingCFI(ortheir
designee)reviewallpreflightplanningandweatheranalysis.Onlyafterallpreparationshavebeen
reviewedwillthestudentreceiveanendorsementandbedispatchedtofly.
6.4.4Theexceptionto6.4.3isthattheSupervisingCFImayappointanotherclubCFIasasubstituteto
reviewpreflightpreparations.ThisSubstituteCFI,oncesatisfiedwithallpreflightpreparations,
maythendatetheendorsementoftheSupervisingCFI.

7Accidentprocedures
7.1.1ThepilotincommandisrequiredtoreportanyaccidentorincidenttotheChiefCFIbythemost
expedientmeans,andtofollowtheproceduresestablishedbytheclubandprovidedineach
aircraftandatthecluboffice.
7.1.2Anymemberwhoisrequestedtosubmitareportofanaccidentorincidentshalldosowithin48

8Rulesenforcement
8.1.1ItistheresponsibilityofeachmembertoassistwiththeenforcementoftheOperatingRules.Any
violationoftheoperatingrulesshallbebroughttotheattentionofaclubofficer,theChiefCFI,
theDirectorofMaintenance,ortheOperationsManager.
8.1.2Simpleviolationsofproceduremaybedealtwithdirectlybyverbalwarning,writtenwarning,or
issuingofafinespecifiedintheScheduleofFees.Recordofanyfineandacopyofanywritten
warningshallbeplacedinthemembersfile.Amembermayappealanyfineorwrittenwarning
totheChiefCFI.
8.1.3Repeatedviolationsofprocedureorviolationsofamoreseriousnaturewillbereferredtothe
ChiefCFIforappropriateaction.

8.1.4Inhearinganappealordecidingonaviolationofamoreseriousorrepeatednature,theChiefCFI
willheartheargumentsandevidenceinexecutivesession.Thememberinquestionwillbe
notifiedinwritingofanyactiontaken,withcopiesofthenotificationfiledinthemembersfile.
8.1.5TheclubshallattempttonotifythememberinquestioninadvanceofanyChiefCFImeetingwhere
extendedsuspensionofprivileges,orforcedchangeofmembershipclassarelikelytobe
considered.ThemembershallhavetheopportunitytoappearinpersonbeforetheChiefCFIatthe
meeting.Intheeventthatnoticewasnotgiven,theChiefCFIshall,attherequestofthememberin
question,scheduleasecondmeetingtohearthestatementofthememberandtoreconsiderthe
actiontaken.Intheinterim,theactionoftheChiefCFIshallstand.

10.4Aircraftrates
10.4.1AircraftratesaredeterminedbytheChiefCFIbasedonoperatingcostsandarepublishedforthe

10.4.2Allaircraftratesarewetratesandincludefuelandoil.RatesareperHobbsmeterhour.Inthe
eventofHobbsmeterfailure,thetachometertotalplus30%willbeusedtocalculateflighttime.

11Insurance
11.1.1Itisrecommendedclubmembermaintaintheirownpersonalinsurancepolicies(commonlyreferred
toasrentersinsuranceornonownedaircraftinsurancetofurtherprotectthemselvesandtheclubinthe
eventofaloss.

12FARs
12.1.1Regardlessofwhatisstatedaboveincluboperatingrules,theFARs(FederalAviationRegulations)
mustbecompliedwithatalltimes.Anyandallinformationcontainedaboveisnotarecommendationor
authorizationtodeviatefromanyoftheFederalAviationRegulations,oranyotherlawsorrulespertainingto
operatinganaircraftorusageofanyairport.
