PARTNERSHIP FOR SUCCESS: Facing Uncertain Futures
This 19th National Seminar on Cerebral Palsy (CP) offers a unique opportunity for parents, families,
health care practitioners, educationists, service providers, researchers, policy makers and others
who are directly or indirectly involved in the care and well being of children, adolescents and young
adults with cerebral palsy to come together to share, discuss and create opportunities for a better
future for those who live with cerebral palsy.
In order to succeed in any area that impacts the well being of our children with Cerebral Palsy we
need to have strong advocates and partners who together with the individual with Cerebral palsy
and their families can carve care pathways and develop a plan to live meaningful and successful
lives, without limits.
This years seminar will:

Examine current medical, developmental and educational issues that affect children and
adults with special needs and their families.
Describe developmentally appropriate interventions for children with special needs and
their families.
To create and document, detailed, relevant and focused life plans from the perspective of
the person with disability and the family, which will be the guiding vision of the person's
life, now and into the future.
To facilitate the creation and maintenance of networks of support and estate plans
which will provide physical, moral & financial support to the persons, trustees and
caregivers so that they can orchestrate the vision outlined in the life plan.
