1. Introduction
emote controls on hydrostatic drives using servo valves, elec-
‘ric motor driven controls or purely hydraulic devices are now
Widely used in various branches of industry.
‘As afurther economic option for the remote controlof axial piston
Pumps, we are now offering electrical control for all sizes of

Proportional valve block RMVB with DBEP 6
Manifold (1) can be built directly ontothe controldeviceof the HD
Control of the series § unit, or supplied separately with threaded
Ports or O ring connections. It also includes a pressure limiting
valve type DBDS10K1%/100 (5) and an adjustable throttle valve
(4).
‘The connections are arranged for use with a single gear pump.
Please enquire i you wish to use the unit with a tandem gear
pump.
Proportional valve DREPGX 06-1X/45 A 24 is built onto the ma-
nifold. The pressure reli valve can therefore be operated with
sither of the two proportional solonoids dependent upon the
direction of the swivel angle. This valve exhibits very low
hhysteresis. In addition, itis also possible to install the series 5
power limiting valve, LV 06(2) on the manifold,
pressure dependent control devices for series 5 pumps, built
‘completely from Rexroth modular elements. These controls are
achieved using a proportional pressure relief valve type DBEP 6,

3. Functional Description
3.1 Proportional pressure relief valve DBEP6
3.1.1 Proportional solenoid
‘The proportional solenoid is a controllable wet pin DC solencia.
It converts an electrical signal into force of proportional magni=
tude, ie. an increase in current produces a similar increase in
‘outputforce. This force remains constant over the working stroke
of the solenoid,
31.2 Pressure relief valve
‘The pressure relief valve is operated by means of the proportio-
nal solenoid, itis used to convert the electrical input signal into
corresponding output pressure signal. basically consists of 2
proportional solenoids (1) and (2), housing (3), sleeve (4) and
‘wo valve poppets (5) and (6). Proportional solenoid (1) applios
‘force on valve poppet (6). Pressure bulding up at port Ais felt
Via the radial driling in sleeve (4) on valve poppet (5). The force
due to this pressure works against the solanoidforcs
‘The valve poppet (5) is thus pressed back against the push rod
of the solenoid (1).

too high and the valve poppat moves to the loft

‘Abalance is thus achioved and the pressure held at a (but now
Teduced) constant level.
‘Atrest, with the proportional solenoids de-energised, ports A or
B and P are opened to T Le. oil can flow unhindered to tank
Oitices (7) in sleeve (4) limit the flow of ol from P to A or B.
