RATIONALE:
Learn more about the technological inventions that nowadays the world has, comparing and
contrasting varied perceptions and points of view. approaches.
LESSON CONTENT:
This lesson is about innovation and its place in society. It develops different skills and the use of
context-specific vocabulary.
INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES
TIME
A. WARM-UP

T will ask them some questions about what instruments or things are really

important to them like: the computer, the cellphone, etc, and why.
B. TEACHING PROCEDURES
Presentation:
T will present the topic with a presentation.

Ss pay attention to the presentation and ask questions if they have doubt or
something isnt clear.

Controlled practice:

T will show them different pictures of some inventions then, the T is going to
choose random Ss, they have to pass to the front and write what they think are
their benefits.

Semi controlled practice:


Ss in groups of 4-5 they have to select what are the most important
technological inventions according to the paper that the T gave them, write
them down, finally they have to choose only one and explain why it is important
to them.

Free practice:
Ss will complete a worksheet related with Technological Inventions.

C. CLOSURE:
Ss watch a video about the topic.
