Informal Writing #6

Directions: Write an informal response to the prompt below. The response

should be a minimum of 350 words and no more than 500 words.
Because this is an informal response, I will not be grading for grammar and
mechanics. This does not mean you should not turn in your best work.
Remember, this is academic writing. This writing will count as a homework
grade. Include your word count at the bottom of the page.
Prompt: You recently went to the Pee Dee Fiction and Poetry Festival. In
your informal writing, you should respond to the panel you were required to
attend. First, answer this: did you think you would enjoy the festival? If not,
explain why. Why you surprised? What were your thoughts about the
writers you saw? How did the writers differ from your expectations of what
a writer should be like? What adivce did they offer to you as a college
writer that you found useful?
