My name is Normah Binti Yaacob. Im a teacher at S.K. Desa Cempaka Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

I live and
work in Nilai but I wasnt born here. I was born in Ipoh in 1963. I grew up in Kuala Lumpur and went to
school there. I joined a college in Perak and completed my study in 1984.
I started my career in 1985 and I was posted to one of the schools in Selangor. I shifted to Negeri
Sembilan after I married to my husband. I live here since my husband is from Negeri Sembilan. Now, we
have four sons and three daughters. Two of my sons got married last year. My daughters and another
two sons are still studying.
When Im not working, I love reading and I have a collection of novels. Besides reading I also love
cooking. Ive tried a few new recipes that I got from the internet. I just tried out a new recipe from East
Asia last week and it was a wonderful meal for us. I would love to try other recipes and share them with
my family.
