The first is the completely redesigned Predator® Rapid Ballistic Vest (page 8). The original
Predator revolutionized tactical body armor. The new Predator takes it to the next level. It features
numerous changes requested by users in the field, including the addition of side plate pockets
and SPEAR (SOF Personnel Equipment Advanced Requirements) cut armor for additional ballistic
coverage without sacrificing operational mobility. We eliminated the external cummerbund zipper,
replacing it with a super-strong hook and loop closure system that includes a low profile
accessory pocket. Plus, we added rigid strength members to the cummerbund to prevent it from
sagging under gear load. A durable cooling mesh liner and new, wider, lengthened, foam-padded
shoulder straps with moisture-wicking Dry-Lex® liner for extra comfort are just a few more of the
features that will make this the operator’s choice for years to come.
The second is the all-new Praetorian™ Rapid Cutaway Ballistic Vest (page 4) for over-water
operations. It incorporates all the features of the Predator plus many more. These include our one
wire release system that allows you to jettison the vest in seconds if the need arises; flotation
inserts to help maintain positive buoyancy; and a single-pull plate ejection system if additional
buoyancy is required.
The third member of the trio is the Enhanced Fast Attack Plate Carrier (page 11). This new
system offers you the same comfortable shoulder straps as the Predator; level IIIA side armor
inserts with plate pockets and the same super strong hook and loop closure system including a
low profile accessory pocket. For high speed mobility, there is not a better system out there.

The Armored Warrior® System was created as a direct
result of feedback from operators wishing to have a
greater amount of ballistic protection from rifle
threats and fragmentation while maintaining the
highest amount of mobility.
Keeping rounds and frag out of the torso/upper chest

is of paramount concern to every operator. The AW
Ballistic Shoulder/Bicep Protection (AW-BSBP), and the
AW Torso Side Plates (AW-TSP) were developed to
defeat these threats from entering the mid and upper
torso through the side and bicep area.
Being the skeletal platform, the

pelvis is the largest bone structure
and blood producing region of the
body. Other than a direct head or
heart shot, the pelvis is the
deadliest region of the body in
which to take a round or frag due
to its "super vascular" nature. In
addition, this region is not
conducive to tourniquet placement,
only the use of pressure wraps and
compression/ stabilization slings.

standard Interceptor OTV front opening carrier into a more
flexible/modular load bearing system. The kit includes a series of “H”

When we created the Cutaway Platforms for our BattleLab line of product offerings, their purpose was for use with
our popular BLPM60 and BLPM62 Medical Pouches and they became an instant success. Resourceful Operators
adapted them to other pouches in addition to the medical pouches. The original two sizes proved to be such useful
pieces of gear that we have added a third, larger size – the BLPM52-PLF.
Although designed to be used primarily with the Hydration Patrol Pack (BLPM52-1) as a cutaway unit, the BLPM52-PLF
can also be adapted for a variety of other purposes using other BLPM series pouches. With the pull of a single wire
on the Cutaway Platform, you’ll have instant access to extra ammo, SAW pouches, hydration or whatever gear is

The SOF pack features a large

main compartment that is
accessed with large #10 YKK
zippers. The main compartment
features a hydration sleeve with
PALS/MOLLE attachments for
adding extra pouches to the
interior. Straps on the bottom
interior of the main
compartment allow for the
addition of a medical/utility
panel. On either side of the pack
are sleeves with Fastex-buckled
flaps for storing additional
hydration bladders or extra
gear. Both have PALS/MOLLE
webbing for hanging extra
pouches and gear. On either
side of the pack are sleeves that
are accessed from the top for
additional hydration bladders.
On the exteriors of these
sleeves is more PALS/MOLLE
webbing with zippered access
for additional storage. The top
of the pack features
antenna/hydration tube ports
and a large carry handle.
Shoulder straps and back panels
are padded with Drylex®
material for enhanced comfort
and durability. An insertable
lumbar support (see page 53) is
available as an option. There is
also an optional accessory waist
belt that can be added to the
pack for increased carry
capacity. The belt features
PALS/MOLLE attachment points
for adding extra pouches and
can be used with the pack or
stand-alone. Strength and
durability were paramount in
the design and manufacturing of
the SOF pack.

BATTLELAB® COMPUTER INSERT

We designed our computer insert at the
request of an SOF unit that needed to
be able to carry laptops, files and other
vital “business” equipment in their
packs without being damaged and yet
still be able to carry their 117F and
Recci equipment. The insert will
accommodate computers up to 13” x
10.5”. Fits in most packs but is
designed specifically for the BLPF81
and the BLPF-81J packs.
