2. Use a storyboard worksheet to map out your script.
3. Type your script so it is easy to read.

4. Practice reading your script aloud until you feel you can read it fluently and with
expression.
5. Create a Voki at Voki.com. Build a suitable avatar for this project.
6. Read and record your script as the Vokis voice.

2.) Come up with a rough draft using 10 slides.
3.) Make sure it the first 5 slides speak about addition and the last 5 speaks about subtraction.
4.) Use Microsoft PowerPoint to make your slide show presentation.
5.) Read, understand and finalize to make sure that you know all because you will present it in
front of the class.

3.) Pick 5 US Presidents you would like to speak about and give history about.
4.) Use a Word Document to write down what you want to read out loud.
5.) Make sure you have references to back up all the facts of the 5 US Presidents you have
chosen.

You will be graded 50 points on preparing the assignment and 50 points for presenting the
assignment to the class.

Entry 3: Differentiating Instruction through Technology


Introduction (4-6 sentences)
In todays society technology has grown throughout the years in classrooms. Technology is
now playing a big role for teachers to teach students about implementing technology in their
everyday life. There are many ways that technology can be taught to students at many different
grade levels. Using technology in the classroom has really enhanced the learning skills and
provides the means of students. With using many forms of technology in the classrooms to
differentiate instruction through technology would be be teaching students Google Tools for
Education, Web Tools, simulations and other technologies in Science Classrooms and through
Gaming for Understanding.
Technology to Differentiate Instruction (300-400 words)
(Goggle Tools for Education): Google Tools for Education have really come along way from
inventing specific tools that will provide a better education for students. There are many
different types of tools that may benefit teachers and students in more ways than one. For
instance when teachers are making lesson plans for the classroom, teachers have the ability to
research through Google and find many different types of instruction plans that will enhance the
learning skills for the students. With that being said, Google provides many different activities
that the students can learn in the classrooms, from individual to group projects in the classrooms
with doing research papers using Google Search Engine to accomplishing what needs to be wrote
down using Google Documents for free. This is teach the students so many different lessons and
ideas using Google tools. The impact of the students achievement will come along way because
of the fact that there are different types of technology that will enhance the students learning
capabilities through using Google Tools for Education.

(Web Tools, Simulations and Other Technology in Science Classrooms): These tools such as
Web Tools, Simulations, and other technology in Science Classrooms provide a clarity of an
everyday life. Information communication and technologies (ICTs) are tools that are taught in a
Science classroom environment that will teach students whether they are in class or outside of
there everyday life. Using these tools provide the students a better understanding about science
because of the fact that it is brought in from what they live each and everyday into the
classrooms. This will help students respond to the changing landscape of their lives. The
position is trans formative in nature because it proposes the use of cyber-enabled resources for
cultivating and leveraging students new literacy skills by learning with technology to enhance
science learning.
(Gaming for Understanding): With technology being so advance in todays society, gaming
has been one of the perks to learning. Gaming for Understanding has really helped students in
classrooms in more ways than one. There are different games online that assist in teaching in the
classrooms with students at different grade levels. It describes the surprising effectiveness of
games and others in helping the players really understand the story with what is being taught in
classrooms. This will impact the students in more ways then one because of the fact that it is a
learning strategy for students to better comprehend what the teacher is teaching.
Pros and Cons (150-250 words)
There are always pros and cons to everything including using technology to differentiate
instruction, With that being said, technology has arise over the years to benefit students in the
classrooms. The pros to this is that it gives the teachers and the students more of a variety of
using technology in the classrooms. However on the other hand, technology can be confusing at
times to where the student may get overwhelmed to what they are learning.

In conclusion, there are many different ways that a teacher can teach instruction in the
classroom. With that being said, technology has come along way to where it has really enhanced
the learning capabilities for students learning. Some of these tools such as Google tools for
Education, Web tools and simulations for Science and gaming for understanding benefits
students of all ages to really understand what they are learning in the classrooms.
