Beginning Band Supply List

Many of the items below are packaged together in what is commonly called a cleaning
kit (or maintenance kit). At the music store, ask for a cleaning kit for your specific
instrument. For brass students, be sure and tell them which finish you have on your
instrumentlacquer (gold colored) or silver-plated (silver colored). If you are not sure
