Design and Advertise a Product

Task 1:

Give a description of your original product (approx. 7 lines)

What is the name of the product:

Design a possible logo for your product. Present on separate A4 page (hand drawn or
computer created):

Who is your target audience and why?

Design a slogan:

Task 2:
Now you have designed your product it is time to advertise it.

You must hand in the following:

1. A poster OR add for magazine/newspaper

- Must include pictures of the product, the logo, the slogan, the name etc
- If drawn in biro/pen will not be accepted
- Must be A4 size or larger

2. A written review of the product for a magazine

- You must state what the product is, what it does, its name, cost, who makes it and
where, who is the product aimed at, what else is the product good for, some
statements from satisfied customers, where you can buy the product etc.
- Approx. 200 words

3. Packaging of the product

- Must be professional looking, appropriate for the product, include the logo,
slogan and product name. (packaging created in biro/pen will not be accepted)

4. Radio Script & Recording

- Must include slogan, name etc.

5. A TV ad for a product.
- In a group, you are to decide on ONE of your products to make a television commercial
about. It should run for about 30 secs and look professional. After you have completed
your add and fully edited it you are required to export it (file-export-quicktime-cdrom
quality). Once it is exported place it in my drop box – sfrochotryan.
