The Hut - Clarence Gardens Association

We are launching a crowd funding campaign on Monday 1st

December. We are a small charity with a large impact.
We currently receive no funding from any statutory bodies
although we save them 1 to 2 million pounds a year.
We now need to urgently raise 15,000 for the Hut to stay
open for another year.
There are rewards/incentives for everyone who donates from
10 upwards.
Some of the incentives includes:

Craft workshops

Thai 5 senses spa half day treatment

free hearing voices workshop with Ron Coleman (author

of Recovery: An Alien Concept?)

Over the past year The Hut has:
Supported 10 volunteers into employment from diverse backgrounds:
criminal records
mental health problems
physical health problems and disabilities
students struggling to find work due to lack of work experience

Helped a woman move into independent living after spending 25 years in

residential care
Develop member-led sessions enabling people, with severe long-term mental
health problems and physical disabilities, to take responsibility for leading
and planning the sessions
Reduce hospital admissions by providing a safe and supportive environment
for people to engage in before a crisis
Supported 20 students with placements to help them gain employment in
