Habitat
SEA TO SWAMP
The sealsoses habitat is a swamp. It will end up in
a swamp because global, Will heat the earth,
melting the polar ice and creating muddy swamps.
Sea animals will have to adapt to new swamp
conditions.

Diet
The sealsos has a diet of;

rocks and minerals

barskims on rocks (barnacles)

reeds

This list makes the sealsos an omnivore, omnivores


are animals that eat both plants and meat.

Predators
The sealsoses predators are the canadon and the
meerswapades.

Characteristics

Physical Characteristics
The Australian Fur Seal has developed into a
sealsos. It's body has changed in many ways.And
has adapted.So now it is eating rocks, it will have
to have stronger and harder stomach muscles,
other wise it would get cut when sharp rocks are in
it's stomach.

It now looks differently to some of the differences


are;
it now has black spikes on it's back to scare
predators.
It has grown a long tail to whip the water as it
swims.
it has now got green skin to blend into plant
growth.

Social Characteristics
The sealsos is not a very social animal.

Being social
The sealsos is a very social animal, it swims in
pods of up to 10!
In every pod there is only 1 female.All sealsos' are
born male. when the female of the pod dies the
last baby born will become the breeding female.
females live up to 21 years of age
males live up to 60 years of age

Mating
In the may you might just be lucky enough to see a
sealsos mate. If you do you are very lucky
because a sealsos only mates once in 10 years!
When they do mating process is as simple as the
female choses a male from there pod, after that
they swim on the top of the water for a week before
starting the breeding process.

Breeding
During the breeding session seasos' female
comes on land with it's chosen male.This is the
only time of year they do. Once there on shore
they balance one there tails for 7-12 day.Once
the female is reddy to give berth they go find a
rocky area on the swamp bed to lay its eggs.

Adaptations

Adaptation
The Australian Fur Seal has adapted in many ways,
It has adapted so it ;
1.can eat rocks from the swamp bed.

2.has a harder stomach muscles and razor sharp teeth to crush the swallowed rocks and
digest the nutritional eliminates.

3. can borrow under rocks to make its nest and lays


its eggs.

4. it can breath outside and inside if the water

5. it can jump on its hind legs to scare


predators and can stand on its tail so it looks
big and scary.

6. it can scare of predators with the their black


spikes on their back.
7. has long whiskers,to feel for for rocks and
other food sources in water that is to mirky to
see in.

8.has a strong sense so it can detect predators and move


away from them.
9. it has green skin to blend into murky water
surroundings and to hide in reeds and other plant growth.
