This has reference to your Notice of Disallowance dated August 5, 2014 regarding the excess payment of
Representation and Transportation Allowances of the officers of the City for CY 2013.
It is a fact that a vehicle was issued under my name by the Local Government Unit, however, it was just
issued for the purpose of accountability and safekeeping. The vehicle is not for my own use; rather it is
used by the office to accomplish its functions. The vehicle is use to convey staff in barangay and hospital
monitoring, inspections, trainings and seminars, referring patients and etc. This is due to lack of vehicle
which is paramount in carrying out our day-to-day activities. My staff can attest regarding the foregoing
matter.
Hence, I am appealing to you to consider the aforementioned circumstance and disregard the
disallowance of my TA.
