Ultimate Yarn Ball!

20 minutes

The purpose of this game is to practice underhand throwing. There are two teams for
each game and there will be two games going on at once. There will be 6 people on
each team and only 4 teams. The game is played by passing the ball to your
teammates down a short field. Whoever is in possession of the ball cannot move and
once in the end zone a point is scored. If the ball is dropped when thrown, it goes
back to the thrower. Meanwhile, the other team can try and take the ball. If the other
team touches the ball when it drops there is a turn over or it can be caught by the other
team. After 6 minutes the teams will switch and begin again. If this becomes too
simple for the students I will progress them into throwing overhand in the same
activity.
