Students will build their reading stamina from 30 minutes to
120 minutes by Friday! With students starting their reading
over the weekend, we are well on our way to reaching our
goal! We need a few more parent volunteers to come and
share in our reading on Friday, Dec. 19th. I will be sending
home a sign-up sheet. Please return it by Wednesday, Dec.
17th, so that I may plan for our groups. Thank you!
Our class is working diligently on our action project
(mentioned last week). Each of our students is excited
about taking action in their community this holiday. Starting
Wednesday we will begin recording our speeches for the
class. But, we need your help! If you have any extra SD
cards or would be willing to purchase some for the class,
could you donate them to our class? If you can, please
send them in by Wednesday, Dec. 17th. Thank you so
much!!!
This week is Mrs. Bickneses last week in our classroom as
our TA! She will be moving to 5th grade to complete her
student teaching! We are so excited for her, but extremely
sad that she will be leaving us! Be sure to take time to write
a note or make something special for her this week!
