Professional Experience
Since September 2012 my position has been as a Data Coordinator with Washington
University at St. Louis Childrens Hospital, where I have been the administrator for the
Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) database known as CardioAccess.
Organize and collect data for all Cardio-thoracic surgical patients.
Instituted improved data collection techniques to help improve efficiency.
Generated queries using SQL for Statistical Analysis.
Developed monthly to quarterly reports using statical analysis to help improve
Cardio-thoracic surgery at St. Louis Childrens Hospital.
Responsible for hospital wide upgrades for CardioAccess.
Resolved issues regarding CardioAccess that required troubleshooting.
Resolved and performed troubleshooting within the office for Microsoft and Apple
Operating Systems.
Developed and designed databases for St. Louis Childrens Hospital Heart Center, and
a Ventricular Assist Device Database for Cardio-thoracic surgeons.
Instituting and running monthly surgical complications meetings.
Performed administrative duties for Redcap, an online research database, where I
would grant user rights and update any required field.
Developed and uploaded Bi-annual National Reports for the Society of Thoracic
Surgeons to Duke University.

From July 2010 to August 2012 I was employed as a Data Analyst with BJC working at St.
Louis Children's Hospital, where I have been assisting for a study involving Clinical Trials
in Organ Transplantation in Children (CTOT-C) for Cardiac Transplants. This study is
cosponsored by The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the
National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI).

Organized and collected data for each of the study participants, using hospital
sponsored databases such as Clindesk, Ottr, Allscripts, and Kiddos.
Performed duties involving the collection, processing, and shipment or specimens.
Developed and instituted a database in Microsoft Access for all the study participants.
Notified and confirmed with nurses on upcoming study visits for the participants in
the study.
Completed training for human research through the Collaborative Institutional
Training Initiative on January 2011.
Received outstanding marks from a CTOT-C audit based on my organization and
completeness of the data.
Supervised the collection of all study related samples for the study.
Oversaw and reported the completion of metrics within either a month, quarterly, or
biannual period of time.
Navigated and analyzed the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR)
database.
Worked within and had access to United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) database.
