Thank you for your correspondence on 18 November 2014 requesting:
1. When is the Otahuhu Transport Interchange construction meant to start? Is it 2014 or 2021 according to
the Long Term Plan documents from Auckland Council
2. Where are the tender documents for the construction of the Otahuhu Transport Interchange and why
were they never made to be publicly available on the AT website like other projects that went or have
gone out for Tender.
3. When will the Tender documents be released for the Manukau Interchange and will they be made
available on the AT tenders portal
Otahuhu Transport Interchange
The Otahuhu bus interchange design is underway. The initial enabling work was tendered throughout October
2014 with the contract awarded mid-November and due for completion in the 1st quarter of 2015. This contract
is noted in the Awarded Contracts document available online: https://at.govt.nz/media/618879/NZTA-AwardedContracts.pdf.
The Otahuhu bus interchange main works tender will be out to the market by around March 2015.
Manukau Transport Interchange
The Manukau bus interchange project is in the concept design stage with detailed design due to progress
throughout December through to Feb 2015.
The current programme is to be out to tender by mid-2015.

responded appropriately to your request, you have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA to
make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman to seek an investigation and review in regard to this matter.
