SMS Setting

Here we are going to configure Pager in SCOT for send message on Mobile via Mobile.

SCOT

Select the PAG and create a new Node.

Put the name of NODE and its Description.

Here we will use HTTP node to send message and we have required url setting for this HTTP node.

ISP will provide your URL and Parameters for HTTP Connection.

Test the provided url

Put the url in Internet Explorer

Here message status is successful.

now put the above url in URL window which ISP provided us.

We already put the password in URL. So now we dont need to put password in below window.

We will provide the message length mean message size will be 200 Bytes.

Continue with default setting.

Here we will put the * in Address area and we can put the country code (SMS: 0092*) in address area.

Here we are going to put 2 minutes mean NODE will retry to send message after every 2 minute.

Now SMS node setting is completed and now we have to check the PAGER service and method to
send/compose a SMS.

We can change the view of System. We will go with System status.

This is setting which we made above.

Check the Pager Service is Defined or not

Currently client 600 is not modifiable now you have to modifiable to create Pager service.

Here Pager Service already created. So, we dont need to create it.

Define SAP Job

Click on Job ICON.

Here we configured the Pager setting. So we will select the Job for PAG. If we had configured more than
one NODEs then we have to create a job with Schedule Job for All Address Types.

Here we will set the parameter with respect to our requirement.

Server Group: If we have configured SMLG then we will use Server Group.

Here we can select the variant PAG or * ALL

Here is the detail of SMS.

Continue.

Here we will give the cell number and select the Pager number in Recipient Type.

Here Message status is Yellow, it will be change after 2 minutes when job will execute which we
scheduled above.
