Dear Sir:
Greetings!
I am Ms. Jackylou Saludes, a secondary school teacher in Esperanza National High School of San
Ricardo District. I am purposely writing this letter to express my intent to transfer to any secondary
school in the districts of Bontoc I and II if there is a vacancy available for a science teacher.
I am wishing to transfer in Bontoc District primarily for the following reasons, to wit:
a. I am presently eight months pregnant, the long and difficulty of travel to Esperanza NHS
would be a big risk to my pregnancy. Esperanza NHS is very far away from my present
residence and it would be impossible for me to be at our home daily. Furthermore, there is
only a limited transportation available during rainy days because of falling rocks and
unexpected landslides along the road; Hence, it would be of great help if I will be assigned
near to my residence;
b. I am currently residing in San Ramon, Bontoc, Southern Leyte after getting married to a
Bontocanon, and for this reason, I wish to be assigned in a school near to our residence. If I
will be transferred, I could save a significant amount enough to augment our income in
defraying family expenses;
c. If I will still be at Esperanza NHS after my delivery, it would be hard for me to attend the
needs of my newborn child. As a mother, it is my desire to take good care of my children.
I am fervently hoping and wishing that this request be granted and be given attention. If granted, I
will be forever grateful for your consideration and understanding to my situation.
