A. Opposition's Argument 1
Quotes: likely to prevent any individual from growing too powerful, as well as to instill
fear in those who remain.
Comment: Kim Jong-Un is killing his people in order to install fear into the citizens that
are living. He is doing this so the people won't rebel and he will have power. My
political manifesto would go against this governments actions because one of my

fondness for purging senior officials and other members of the North Korean elite.
When viewed together, these purges clearly have a defined purpose; namely to help
Kim Jong-Un consolidate power by removing vestiges of his fathers rule.
Comment: Kim Jong-Un is trying to get rid of his father's workers by killing them. He
is doing this in order to consolidate power and be the sole ruler. This also goes against
my manifesto because once again it goes against the right to life

III. Pro-Government Argument
A. Pro-Government Argument 1
Quotes: officials had in some cases prohibited live births in prison and ordered forced
abortions as recently as 2011. In some cases of live birth, the white paper reported that
prison guards killed the infant or left it to die. The white paper also reported cases of
guards sexually abusing female prisoners or sexually exploiting female prisoners for

Comment: This goes against the natural right of Life because there forcing people to
not give birth therefore killing the baby that should have been born.

State. U.S. Department of State. Web. 21 Oct. 2014.
B. Pro-Government Argument 2
Quotes: There were numerous instances of persons being interrogated or arrested for
saying anything that could be construed as negative towards the government.
Comment: This goes against ones liberty and there right to freedom of speech. Not
only are they saying you can't say bad things about the government they even say that
if you say something that could in anyway be related to the government you will also
be punished.
