This week we are learning:

Circle Time Review
I would like to begin reviewing
vocabulary from past lessons with the
students as well as using the songs
that go with that vocabulary.
Body parts- head shoulders knees
and toes
Transportation- wheels on the bus
would also like to have them draw
and colour pictures.

Phonics
Review
This week we will review past
belending word families:
- at(cat, bat, hat, fat, mat)
- an(fan, can, man, pan)
- et(pet, jet, wet, net)
We will be paying special attention
to students pronunciation as they
have been having trouble with
ending sounds.

Activity Time
Activity time this week I will start with opposites and I will begin with a
youtube video of opposites.
I will then use flash cards and play games like the croc game and fly swat.
Another game that I think could work with the flashcards would be calling
out a word like TALL and getting the student to run around the class trying
to find it and then they must sort it into its opposite that will be placed on
the floor.
Opposites that will be covered are:
fast, slow,
big, small,
heavy, light,
beautiful, ugly,
strong, weak,
long, short,
tall, short

New (letters/sounds/vocabulary)
This week we will begin practice blending the og(log, dog, fog, jog) family of 3
letter words. We will be spending more time focusing on the end sound of the
words.

Writing Practice
This week we will not be doing
any additional writing practice,
