Descriptive essay

The Skull
With that horrifying look, there it rests on the center table of the living room. It gives
me goose bumps whenever I look at that skull shaped ashtray. Giving the feel of a
real skull with its brown and white texture, it looks like it belongs to a pharaoh
mummys skeleton all covered in dried mud.
Its mouth with small teeth carved out gives an evil smile. The lower jaw protrudes
out in front a little bit more than the front jaw. It has three dented holes in its front,
each for the two eyes and its nose. The ash is deposited in its hollow head which
looks like a miniature cave. There are some cuts in its forehead which make it look a
bit more dangerous and scarier.
This ashtray has been the scariest object in my homes living room since many
years. I have always wished of throwing it away but my mother doesnt allow it.
