Engineering Simulation Process & Tools Analyst

The Aftertreatment & Cooling Products (ACP) simulation team of the Large Power
Systems Division at Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an engineering analyst. The team
supports New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI)
activities for aftertreatment and cooling components and systems. The simulations
the team performs can be very challenging, involving complex phenomena such as
transient thermal effects, fluid flow, engine and machine vibration and forced
response, material nonlinearities, exotic materials and complex geometries. Typical
models can contain numerous boundary conditions and generate large datasets.
The current opening will focus on improving the quality and efficiency of simulation
processes and tools.
