4-year
college is
the path for
me!

4 year college is the right option

for me. 4 year college will give me
time to figure out my plan of what
career path I would like to choose
before I am living out on my own.
It will prepare me in order to have
a well paying job. I have an advantage for a suitable job if Ive
studied for 4 years verse someone
who has studied for less. I will have
the time to participate in learning
opportunities on and off of campus
such as study abroad trips, service
learning projects, internships,
cultural events, guest lectures, and
many more. I will also have the opportunity to participate in studentrun clubs. Once I have graduated I
will have a degree that can be used
for a wide spectrum of jobs.

A few programs I am interested in:

Nursing at Rutgers:
This program teaches you to examine patients and
treating their immediate needs to keeping up the
health of people with long term conditions. It also
gives you the opportunity to train in a hospital
where nurses educate and care for the patients
everyday.

tools, technologies, and treatments that

at a clinic or hospital.

who aren't sick but who need help developing
their careers or you will have an opportunity to
work with those who have a mental illness.

Requirements to go to a 4 year college

are SAT scores maybe ACT scores. A High

taken the basic math, sciences, English, history, and electives. An essay and resume may be
needed to get into college. An application has
to be filled out and an application fee may be
required. Also you may need teacher recommendations, community service hours, and a
certain GPA requirement.

4 year college options: nurse, fashion designer, entrepreneurship, engineering, air

traffic controller, dental hygienist, mechanic,
investors, web developers, transportation inspectors, make up artist, electrical engineering
installers, elevator installers, radiation therapist, media and communication equipment
workers, etc.

The advantages of going to

a 4 year college:

Disadvantages of going to a 4
year college:

If you go to a 4 year college it can be

used for job advancement. Schools
offer diverse subjects to explore, there
are so many options to study. You will
learn many new things in all different
subjects not just the one youre majoring in. Also you will have a chance to
experience the traditional college life.
Which might be a very fulfilling experience. Being able to go on trips
(traveling to other countries), attending
football games, clubs. There are different activities for everyone!

Its pricy and may take a while to pay off

because you have to pay for books, rooming, and college tuition. It is worth it if
you take the time to study! Finding a job
shouldn't be difficult.

It can be time consuming if you decide to

switch majors.

Schools have high admission standards.

The market may be slower which means

you may need additional job training.

To overcome the price I am going to look

for scholarships and apply for grants. I also already have a job and I am starting to
save for college!
