    Fibroadenoma is a benign breast tumour composed of both fibrous and epithelial elements. Microscopically, it is dominated by fibrous tissue and can exhibit one of two patterns - intracanalicular, where fibrous tissue invaginates into glandular tissue, or pericanalicular, where fibrous stroma surrounds mammary gland ducts. Fibroadenomas typically present as solitary, well-circumscribed masses in young women aged 15-30 years old.
