Read the passage below and answer the questions that follow.
Nicol Ann David, Malaysias squash champion is a good role model for
teenagers. She has a successful international squash career, currently ranking 8 th in
the world at the age of 20.Nicol started playing squash at the age of five. At the age
of 16, she was voted as Malaysias National Sportswoman.
Despite the pressures of international squash, Nicol remains to be an excellent
student. In her SPM examinations she scored As in tough subjects like Economics,
Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Accounts, Science, Art and English.
Nicol was the first Asian woman to win the World Open. She is the only squash
player who won the World Junior title twice. Nicol is a role model to the youth of
Malaysia and around the world. She is also humble and holds very strong family
values. She is committed, has competitive spirit and a strong desire for excellence
which has made her successful.
