Student Learning Outcomes (Goals): The students will continue their shark research from
day 2s lesson via Kidrex.org. The students will also utilize additional websites to gain more
information on sharks with the guidance of the teacher. Students will continue to take notes from
their research on notecards.

Procedure:
1. Explain to the students that today they will continue conducting their own
research on sharks. Pass out notecards to students.
2. Assist the students with turning on the Chromebooks and guide them to the
homepage.

3. With the use of the SmartBoard, guide the students to the browser bar on their
Chromebooks, by showing the browser bar via the internet display on the
SmartBoard.
4. Have the students type in the following website to begin research:

5. Remind the students to use their About Sharks handouts for assistance with
key words to search for. About Sharks handout
