Description of how to implement in the class: The teacher will introduce the study of famous Americans using the
video of Susan. B Anthony. The students will be asked to remember one important fact about Susan B. Anthony. After
viewing the video , the teacher will list all the students responses. The teacher will divide the students into groups. The
students will go to their assigned listening station and will view the video a second time. Each group will return to the
whole group with one more fact about Susan B. Anthony. Once there are enough facts for each student, the teacher will
support the students in creating a podcast using Audacity. When the podcast is finished, it will be added to the
classroom website for others to view.
Students will select one of the other famous people listed. As a group the students will research their famous person,
collecting information and creating a podcast. All the podcasts will be added to the classroom website for others to
