Research Project
An Investigation into the Current Assessment and Grading Practices of K-12 Physical Education Classes
-Despite the recent adoption of a state reporting system for K-12 physical education, preliminary data collected provides
evidence K-12 physical education teachers do not assess according to state and national standards.
-This research project is a collaboration with Professor Dr. Bruce Pietz, and is worked on completely outside of class, and
is not a requirement for graduation
