African American Info

African American Social Studies Project

Dear Parents,
Next month is African American Heritage month. To celebrate this
special month each student in my class will be required to do a research
project on a famous African American. The research project will be
done mainly in class, but some parts will need to be completed at home.
To go along with this project we will also be participating in a Living
Wax Museum. Your child will need to memorize, (we will work on their
speech in class and then they will bring it home to study and memorize),
some facts about the person they are researching and then dress up like
them (as best they can) and participate in the Living Wax Museum on
Feb. 26.
