Statement of Purpose

Miss Wiles classroom is a safe, respectful and positive learning


environment, which encourages participation, cooperation, and creativity.
Each student will be responsible for his or her own learning in order to be
successful.

Classroom Rules

Classroom Procedures
Procedure 1: Beginning of Class
Arrive to class on time with all necessary materials.
Check-in and make lunch choice.
Begin morning work and wait quietly for others to finish.

Procedure 2: Going to the Rest Room


This is an independent responsibility. As long as it does not become a problem,
permission is not needed.
Sign out and take the bathroom pass.
Go directly to the restroom, and return quickly and quietly.
Sign back in, return the pass, and return to your seat.

Procedure 3: Completing and Turning In Work


Put in your best effort on any homework assignments.
Be responsible and turn in homework when it is due.
Turn in any missing work as soon as possible.

Procedure 4: Hallway Procedures


Stay in your assigned line position, unless chosen line leader/caboose of the week.
Walk quietly in the hallway at all times.
Hands should be at your sides, not touching the walls or others.

Procedure 5: Dismissal
Once the teacher has given the class permission, pack up your belongings.
Stack chair and take all belongings with you to line up.
Line up quietly and wait for dismissal.

Crisis Plan
