When constructing my film poster, I adhered to conventions of the horror genre by adding a threatening antagonist with bloody face and holding a bloody knife this creates fear feeling in the audience, I have masthead which reads Medic Killer with red font colour as the connation of red is murder and danger both of these elements are present in a typical horror movie and it has a threatening connation. 2) What conventions of the film poster did I adhere to when constructing my film poster? When constructing my film poster I adhered to the conventions of the film poster by adding a masthead and it is important to any film poster, I added an tagline which summarizes the film, I also added a review on film which is very critical to a film poster as the review has influence on the audience, they decide whether the film is good based on the review. 3) What practical skills (photoshop, photography, green screening, make-up, lighting etc) did I develop by completing the film poster? the horror genre. 4) What images did you manipulate to complete your film poster? I only manipulated the image of the antagonist, the images was originally RGB but I changed the channel to black. I cut out the image, separating the image from the background. 5) What elements of the horror poster could of be improved and why? The background could be improved on my horror poster as the background on the poster is colour black, I think the background should be an image which would my poster look more professional.
