Databases and under Resources (library or
project) => Icons, Create new icon by
selecting New => Icon
or by right-clicking
Select the type Ico
Define name for the icon and select the
correct application

When you click OK, the icon is saved to

Open the icon by double-clicking or right-click => edit

In this example, Axialis IconWorkshop is used
By default, the properties are 32x32 pixels and 256 colors
Create new image format
and select the following properties:
Colors: RGB/Alpha Channel (RGB/A -32 bits)
Size in Pixels: 64x64

- Delete the old 32x32-format

- Create the icon and save
- In Cadmatic library, check-in the icon by right-clicking and selecting
