INJURY ACCIDENT IN RSV VESSEL (Research and Supply Vessel)
O QUE ACONTECEU:
WHAT HAPPENED:
Durante preparo de alimentos, quando o cozinheiro retirou uma frigideira do fogo, ocorreu um balano
na embarcao que fez com que o mesmo se deslocasse para trs, esbarrando a frigideira na
proteo do fogo, derramando leo na mo, antebrao e abdmen, causando queimaduras.
During food preparation, when the cook took out a fryer from the stove, the vessel rolled and made the cook move
backward leaning the fryer against the stove protection, spilling oil and burning his hand, forearm and abdomen.

Foi utilizada uma frigideira comum ao

invs da fritadeira eltrica adequada.
A common fryer was used instead of an
appropriate electric one.

Durante a tarefa, no foi levado em

considerao o risco de manusear
frigideira com leo em alta temperatura
em ambiente com balano do mar
(cozinha de embarcao)
During the task, the risk of handling a fryer
with oil in high temperature was not
considered in a place with sea rolling (vessel
galley)

O QUE DEVEMOS FAZER PARA EVITAR:

WHAT WE SHOULD DO TO AVOID:

Treinar os empregados que desenvolvem atividades de cozinha na utilizao do equipamento

adequado, no permitindo o uso de frigideiras comuns, em qualquer situao.
Train the employees who performs activities in the galley regarding the use of appropriate equipment, not
allowing the use of common fryers in any situation.

SEMPRE UTILIZE OS EQUIPAMENTOS ADEQUADOS PARA REALI ZAR SUAS

ATIVIDADES, INCLUSIVE NAS ATIVIDADES DE COZINHA E HOTELARIA
ALWAYS USE APPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT TO PERFORM YOUR ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING GALLEY AND
CATERING ACTIVITIES.
