Keime, gegen die sich ein Neugeborenes noch
nicht ausreichend wehren kann, werden so vollstndig abgettet. Die desinfizierten Teile sind
sofort wieder einsetzbar.

1. Wichtige Hinweise vor dem ersten Gebrauch

Diese Bedienungsanleitung hilft Ihnen, Ihren
Vaporisator sicher und wirtschaftlich zu gebrauchen.
Jede Person, die dieses Gert aufstellt, bedient,
reinigt oder entsorgt, muss den vollstndigen
Inhalt dieser Bedienungsanleitung zur Kenntnis
genommen und verstanden haben.
Bewahren Sie daher diese Bedienungsanleitung

gut auf, damit Sie sie jederzeit zur Verfgung
haben.
Wenn Sie Ihr Gert einmal verkaufen oder verschenken, geben Sie bitte diese Bedienungsanleitung mit, damit auch der nchste Besitzer das
Gert sicher benutzen kann.

Mit diesem NUK VAPO RAPID Dampf-Vaporisator knnen Sie Babyflaschen und Flaschenzubehr desinfizieren.
Die zu desinfizierenden Teile mssen kochfest
sein, da die Temperatur beim Desinfizieren ber 90 C betrgt.
Dieses Gert darf nur in geschlossenen, trockenen Rumen benutzt werden.
Dieses Gert ist fr den Einsatz in Privathaushalten und nicht fr den gewerblichen Einsatz
geeignet.

2.4 Funktionsbeschreibung
Dieser Vaporisator wird elektrisch beheizt. Das
in ihm befindliche Wasser wird zum Kochen
gebracht. In der dabei entstehenden Hitze der
Dampf-Atmosphre werden Keime abgettet
und damit die Babyflaschen sowie das Flaschenzubehr desinfiziert.
2.2 Modelle
Das Gert wird in zwei Varianten geliefert:
1. Europisches Modell, mit 2-PIN-Stecker,
Artikel-Nr. 10.251.012
2. Britisches Modell, mit 3-PIN-Stecker, ArtikelNr. 10.749.054
In der Bedienung und Funktion gibt es keine
Unterschiede zwischen diesen Varianten.
3. Sicherheitshinweise
Dieses Gert ist nach dem modernen Stand der
Technik konstruiert und gefertigt. Alle entsprechenden europischen Sicherheitsrichtlinien
wurden beachtet und das Gert der Norm entsprechend geprft. Dennoch knnen von derartigen Gerten auch Gefahren ausgehen.

Lnger dauert es nicht, unsere Sicherheitshinweise durchzulesen. Vermutlich kennen Sie die
meisten Hinweise schon, lesen Sie diese bitte
trotzdem durch, da der eine oder andere Hinweis doch neu fr Sie sein wird und Sie vor
Schaden bewahren kann.

Die
Missachtung
folgender
Warnungen knnen zu einem Schaden am
Gert fhren.
berprfen Sie, ob die erforderliche Netzspannung (siehe Typenschild am Gert) mit
Ihrer Netzspannung bereinstimmt.
Das Gert darf ausschlielich auf einem
festen, ebenen, trockenen und nicht brennbaren Untergrund aufgestellt werden.
Das Gert nicht in der Nhe von heien Flchen, in beheizten fen oder in der Nhe
von Gas- oder Elektrogerten aufstellen, da
das Gert dadurch beschdigt werden
knnte.
Setzen Sie das Gert nie ohne Wasser in
Betrieb, da es sonst berhitzen knnte.
Lassen Sie das Gert whrend des Betriebes
niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
Trennen Sie nach dem Gebrauch das Gert
vom Netz, damit es nicht unbeabsichtigt
eingeschaltet werden kann.
Hinweise:
Fllen Sie nie mehr als 70 ml Wasser ein, da
die Funktion sonst beeintrchtigt werden
knnte.

Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um
sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gert
spielen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nie
zur Stolperfalle wird oder sich jemand darin
verfangen oder darauftreten kann.
Lesen Sie vor dem Gebrauch bitte sorgfltig

diese Bedienungsanleitung. Sie ist Bestandteil des Gertes und muss jederzeit verfgbar sein.
Verwenden Sie das Gert nur fr den
beschriebenen Verwendungszweck (siehe
2.1 Verwendungszweck auf Seite 4).

Die Missachtung folgender Warnungen
knnten zu Verletzungen fhren.
Dieses Gert ist nicht dafr bestimmt, durch
Personen (einschlielich Kinder) mit eingeschrnkten physischen, sensorischen oder
in dieser Bedienungsanleitung empfohlen

werden oder wenn bei Reparaturen nicht
ausschlielich Originalersatzteile verwendet werden. Dies gilt auch fr Reparaturen,
die durch nichtqualifizierte Personen durchgefhrt werden. Die Kontakt-Adresse
finden Sie am Ende dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
Bei eventuellen Funktionsstrungen darf die
Instandsetzung des Gertes nur durch eine
qualifizierte Person erfolgen. Ansonsten
erlischt jeglicher Garantieanspruch.
3.3 Schutz vor Verbrennungen und

Verbrhungen
Warnung! Da das Gert mit hohen

Temperaturen arbeitet, kann die Missachtung folgender Warnungen zu Verbrennungen oder Verbrhungen fhren.
Die Gerteoberflchen werden whrend
des Betriebes sehr hei. Daher nur am dafr
vorgesehenen Griff oder den Schaltern
berhren.
Den Vaporisator whrend des Betriebes
nicht transportieren. Wenn Sie das heie
Gert transportieren wollen, schalten Sie es
aus, ziehen den Netzstecker und warten ab,
bis sich das Gert abgekhlt hat. Ansonsten
knnten Sie sich an der heien Oberflche
verbrennen.
Die Flaschen sind direkt nach der Desinfektion sehr hei und sollten nur mit der beiliegenden Flaschenzange entnommen werden.
3.4 Schutz vor elektrischem Schlag
Warnung! Die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise sollen Sie vor einem elektrischen Schlag schtzen.
Benutzen Sie das Gert nur, wenn Gert
und Netzkabel intakt sind.
Wenn das Netzkabel beschdigt ist, muss es
durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst
oder eine hnlich qualifizierte Person
ersetzt werden, um Gefhrdungen zu vermeiden.

In das Gert drfen, auer in den dafr vorgesehenen Behlter, keinesfalls Wasser oder
andere Flssigkeiten gelangen. Daher:
niemals im Freien einsetzen
niemals mit Flssigkeit gefllte Gefe,
wie Trinkglser, Vasen etc. auf das Gert
stellen
niemals in sehr feuchter Umgebung einsetzen
nicht direkt neben einem Splbecken
betreiben.
Falls doch einmal Flssigkeit in das Gert
gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker
und lassen das Gert von qualifiziertem
Fachpersonal reparieren. Die KontaktAdresse finden Sie am Ende dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
Fassen Sie das Gert, das Netzkabel oder
den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Hnden an.
Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Stecker
heraus. Ziehen Sie niemals am Kabel selber.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nie
geknickt oder gequetscht wird.
Halten Sie das Netzkabel von heien Flchen (z.B. Herdplatte) fern.
Die Benutzung von Verlngerungskabeln
sollten Sie vermeiden. Sie ist nur unter ganz
bestimmten Voraussetzungen gestattet:
Das Verlngerungskabel muss fr die
Stromstrke des Gertes geeignet sein.
Das Verlngerungskabel darf nicht fliegend verlegt sein: es darf nicht zur Stolperfalle werden oder von Kindern
erreichbar sein.
Das Verlngerungskabel darf keinesfalls
beschdigt sein.
Es drfen keine weiteren Gerte als dieses Gert an der Netzsteckdose angeschlossen werden, da es sonst zu einer
berlastung des Stromnetzes kommen
kann (Verbot von Mehrfachsteckdosen!).
3.5 Schutz vor Brandgefahr
Warnung! Da das Gert mit hohen

Temperaturen arbeitet, beachten Sie
die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise,
damit kein Brand entstehen kann.
Whrend des Betriebes drfen sich keine
brennbaren Gegenstnde (z.B. Vorhnge,
Papier usw.) in unmittelbarer Umgebung des
Gertes befinden.
Benutzen Sie das Gert niemals dazu, Textilien oder andere Dinge auf, ber oder vor
dem Gert zu trocknen.
Um eine berhitzung zu vermeiden, darf
das Gert niemals abgedeckt werden.
Das Gert darf niemals direkt unter einer
Wandsteckdose aufgestellt werden, da die
entstehende Hitze zu Schden an der elektrischen Installation fhren knnte.
Lassen Sie das Gert nie unbeaufsichtigt laufen. Schden kndigen sich fast immer durch
intensive Geruchsbildung an. Ziehen Sie in
diesem Falle sofort den Netzstecker und
lassen Sie das Gert berprfen. Die Kontakt-Adresse finden Sie am Ende dieser
Bedienungsanleitung.
3.6 Zur Sicherheit Ihres Kindes
Warnung! Kinder knnen Gefahren

oft nicht richtig einschtzen und sich
dadurch Verletzungen zuziehen. Beachten Sie daher:
Dieses Produkt darf nur unter Aufsicht von
Erwachsenen verwendet werden um sicherzustellen, dass Kinder nicht mit dem Gert
spielen.
Achten Sie sorgfltig darauf, dass sich das
Gert immer auerhalb der Reichweite von
Kindern befindet.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Kinder niemals das
Gert am Kabel herunterziehen knnen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolie
nicht zur tdlichen Falle fr Kinder wird.
Verpackungsfolien sind kein Spielzeug.

5. Desinfektion von Babyflaschen, Saugern und Zubehr

5.1 Allgemeines zur Desinfektion
4. Setzen Sie den Flaschenhalter 4 in den

Dampfbehlter (Abb. C).
Vorsicht! Desinfizieren Sie die Flaschen stets
offen und in Einzelteile zerlegt, da sonst
Materialverformungen auftreten knnen.
5. Stellen Sie die Babyflaschen unverschlossen
ber Kopf in den Flaschenhalter 4 (Abb. D).
Hinweis: Stapeln Sie die Verschlusskappen
mglichst im Flaschenhalter 4. So sparen Sie
Platz im Zubehrkorb (Abb. E).
6. Setzen Sie den Zubehrkorb 3 auf den
Dampfbehlter (Abb. F).
7. Legen Sie das Zubehr in den Zubehrkorb
3 (Abb. G).
8. Setzen Sie den Deckel 1 auf den Zubehrkorb 3 (Abb. H).
9. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine geeignete Netzsteckdose.
Hinweis: Falls die Kontrolllampe 8 jetzt
schon leuchtet, wurde der Ein-Schalter 7
bereits versehentlich bettigt.
10.Schalten Sie das Gert mit dem Ein-Schalter
7 ein.
Die Kontrolllampe 8 leuchtet (Abb. I).
Der Vaporisator schaltet sich nach der Desinfektion automatisch ab und die Kontrolllampe
erlischt.
Neugeborene haben anfangs noch nicht

gengend Abwehrstoffe, um sich selbst
ausreichend
gegen
Krankheitserreger
(pathogene Keime) zu schtzen.
Bei der Zubereitung der Suglingsnahrung sind keimfreie Sauger und Babyflaschen daher eine wichtige Voraussetzung.
Schon
kleinste
Nahrungsmittelreste
an
den Saugern und Babyflaschen knnen
leicht zu einer gesundheitsgefhrdenden
Bakterienbildung fhren. Deshalb sollten
die Teile vor jeder Desinfektion zustzlich
gereinigt werden.
Der Vaporisator arbeitet mit der Hei-Desinfektions-Methode. Dabei wird Wasser auf ber
90 C erhitzt und verdampft. Die so entstehende Hitze desinfiziert die eingelegten Teile
schnell und zuverlssig. Die Sauger und Babyflaschen kommen also nur mit Hitze und Wasserdampf in Berhrung.
Durch die geringe Menge Wasser, die der Vaporisator zur Desinfektion verbraucht, wird auch
nur wenig Strom bentigt.
5.2 Desinfektion
Vorsicht! Alle zu desinfizierenden Teile mssen
grndlich gesplt und von smtlichen Nahrungsresten befreit werden.
Die Abbildungen A bis I zur Desinfektion finden
Sie auf der Ausklappseite.
1. Nehmen Sie den Messbecher 9 aus dem
Heizsockel 6 (Abb. A).
2. Geben Sie mit Hilfe des Messbechers 9 insgesamt 70 ml Leitungswasser in den Heizsockel
6 (Abb. A).
Hinweis: 70 ml entsprechen zwei Messbechern mit einer Wassermenge von je 35 ml.
3. Setzen Sie den Dampfbehlter 5 auf den
Heizsockel 6 (Abb. B).
5.3 Beachten Sie bitte:
Warnung!
Direkt nach dem Ausschalten befindet
sich noch heier Dampf in dem Gert,
der teilweise aus dem Dampfauslass
ausstrmt. Achten Sie daher darauf,
sich nicht zu verbrhen indem Sie das
Gert mindestens 3 Minuten lang auskhlen lassen.
Die Flaschen sind direkt nach der
Desinfektion sehr hei und sollten nur
mit der beiliegenden Flaschenzange
entnommen werden.
Vorsicht! Ziehen Sie nach jedem Gebrauch den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, damit das Gert
nicht versehentlich eingeschaltet werden kann.
Eine Desinfektion dauert mit einer Wassermenge von 70 ml ca. 8 Minuten.

Eine Desinfektion ist nur garantiert, wenn
der Desinfektionsvorgang nicht unterbrochen und nicht verkrzt wird.
Verwenden Sie ausschlielich normales Leitungswasser ohne weitere Zustze.
Sorgen Sie fr eine regelmige Entkalkung
gem Abschnitt 6.2 Entkalken, damit die
Funktionsfhigkeit erhalten bleibt.
6. Reinigung und Pflege des Gertes

6.1 Reinigung

Warnung!
Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker,
bevor Sie das Gert reinigen.
Reinigen Sie das Gert nur im abgekhlten Zustand.
Vorsicht! Verwenden Sie keine scharfen Reinigungs- oder Scheuermittel, da diese die Oberflchen angreifen knnen.
1. Nehmen Sie den Deckel 1, den Zubehrkorb 3, den Flaschenhalter 4 sowie den
Dampfbehlter 5 vom Heizsockel 6 ab.
Vorsicht! Der Heizsockel 6 darf niemals in
Wasser getaucht werden, da er elektrische Bauteile enthlt, die dadurch beschdigt werden
knnen.
2. Wischen Sie den Heizsockel 6 nach jeder
Benutzung mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.
3. Reinigen Sie den Deckel 1, den Zubehrkorb
3, den Flaschenhalter 4 sowie den Dampfbehlter 5 entweder mit Splwasser oder in
der Splmaschine.
Durch das regelmige Auswischen des Gertes

wird die Verkalkung reduziert. Nach einiger Zeit
wird sich dennoch durch den Kochvorgang Kalk
im Heizsockel des Vaporisators absetzen.
Verkalkungen knnen die Leistung beim Desinfizieren erheblich verschlechtern.
Hinweis: Bei leichten Verkalkungen benutzen
Sie am besten das hier beschriebene Verfahren
mit Haushaltsessig:
1. Zum Entkalken 35 ml heies Wasser mit
35 ml Haushaltsessig mischen und in den
Heizsockel 6 einfllen.
2. Die Lsung 30 Minuten einwirken lassen und
weggieen.
3. Das Gert anschlieend mit einem feuchten
Tuch auswischen.
Bei starken Verkalkungen sollten Sie einen
handelsblichen Entkalker verwenden. Beachten
Sie dabei die Anwendungshinweise fr den Entkalker.

you can disinfect up to six FIRST CHOICE
wide-neck bottles and accessories simply and
effectively. Pathogenic germs are killed off completely. A newborn baby is unable to fight these,
as the immune system is not fully developed.

The disinfected components can be used again
immediately.
We wish your baby a healthy development.
1. Important information before using for the first time

These operating instructions will help you to
use your steriliser safely and economically.
Anyone setting up, using, cleaning or disposing
of this device needs to take note of and completely understand these instructions.
You should therefore keep these instructions in

a convenient place to enable you to access them
when required.
If, at some point, you wish to either sell the
steriliser or give it away, please also pass on
these instructions, so that the next owner can
use the device safely.
2. Description
2.1 Purpose

This NUK VAPO RAPID Steam Steriliser is

designed for disinfecting feeding bottles and
accessories.
The components being disinfected must be able
to withstand boiling water, as a temperature of
over 90 C is attained during the process.
This device may only be used in a closed, dry
environment.
It is meant for use solely in private households;
it is not suitable for commercial purposes.

2.4 Functional description

This steam steriliser is heated electrically. The
water inside the steriliser is heated to boiling
point. Germs are killed off in the steam atmosphere, thus disinfecting feeding bottles and
accessories.
2.2 Model
This device is available in two variants:
1. European Model, with 2-PIN plug,
Article No. 10.251.012
2. British Model, with 3- PIN plug,
Article No. 10.749.054
There is no difference in either the operation or
function of these two models.

3. Safety instructions
This device is designed and built to state-of-theart technology. All relevant European safety
directives have been observed and the device
has been tested in accordance with the relevant
standard. However, there are potential hazards
from using this type of equipment.
Please read these instructions to ensure your
own safety! It will take no longer than 5 minutes. You will probably already be familiar with
much of the information, but please do still read
it, as there will be one or two instructions that
are new to you and which may help prevent
injury or damage.
Beware! Non-observance of the following

warnings may result in damage to the
equipment.
3.1 Explanation of terms

The following signs are used in these operating
instructions:

3.2 General information
These operating instructions should be read

carefully before use. They are part of this
equipment and must be kept readily available at all times.
The device should be used solely for the
intended purpose as described (see
2.1 Purpose on page 13).
Check whether the required voltage agrees

with your local voltage (see nameplate on
device).
The device must always be placed on a surface that is firm, even, dry, heat-resistant
and non-flammable.
The device should never be placed in the
vicinity of hot surfaces, in heated ovens or
in the vicinity of gas or electrical appliances,
as this may cause damage to the device.
Never operate the device without water, as
it could overheat.
Never leave the device unattended when in
use.
After use unplug the device from the mains
to prevent it from being inadvertently
switched on.
N.B.:

knowledge, unless the person concerned is
either supervised by a person responsible
for his/her safety, or receives instructions
from this person as to how to use the
equipment. Children should be supervised
in order to ensure that they do not play
with the device.
You should ensure that the mains cable is
never in a position where someone can trip
on it, become caught in it or walk on it.
Non-observance of the following

warnings may result in injury.
This equipment is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory or mental abilities or with

Please observe the fact that any claim under
warranty and liability will be declared void if
accessories are used that are not recommended in these operating instructions or,
in the case of repairs, if original parts are
not used exclusively. This also applies to

In the event of a breakdown, maintenance
work on the device may only be undertaken
by a qualified person. If this is not adhered
to, any claims under warranty will be
declared null and void.
3.3 Protection against burning and

scalding
Warning! As the device operates at
high temperatures, non-observance
of the following warnings can result in

burns or scalds.
The surfaces of the steriliser become
extremely hot during operation. Therefore
only touch the handle or switches.
Do not move the steriliser while in operation. If you do need to move the device
when hot, switch it off first, remove the
plug and wait until it cools down. Otherwise
the surface could cause scalding.
The bottles are extremely hot after disinfection and should only be handled using the
enclosed tongs.
3.4 Protection against electric shock

Warning! The following safety
instructions should protect you
against an electric shock.

Only use the device if both device and
mains lead are intact.
If the mains lead is damaged it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, his customer
service engineer or a similarly qualified person to prevent potential danger.

On no account should water or any other

fluid be allowed to enter the equipment,
except in the intended receptacle. For this
reason:
Never use outside
Never place receptacles containing fluid,
such as glasses containing drinks, vases
etc. on top of the device
Never use in a humid environment
Do not use next to a sink.
In the event that fluid gets into the device,
immediately remove the plug and have the
device repaired by qualified personnel. The
contact address is to be found at the end of
these operating instructions
Never touch the device, the mains lead or
the plug with wet hands.
Always remove the lead from the plug.
Never pull on the lead itself.
Ensure that the lead never becomes bent of
squashed.
Keep the lead away from hot surfaces (e.g.
cooker hobs).
Avoid the use of extension leads. These
should only be used in specific cases:
The extension lead must be suitable for
the current specified for the device.
The extension lead must not be laid
"freely: it must be secured so as to prevent accidents and must be kept out of
the reach of children.
The extension lead must on no account
be damaged.
No other equipment should be plugged
into the socket at the same time, as this
will overload the mains supply (i.e. no
multi-pin sockets to be used!).
3.5 Protection against risk of fire

5. Disinfection of feeding bottles, teats and accessories

5.1 General information on
disinfecting
5. Place the open bottles in the holder 4 (Fig.

D).
N.B.: Stack the lids if possible in the holder

6. Place the accessories basket 3 on top of the
steam receptacle (Fig. F).
7. Lay the accessories in the basket 3 (Fig. G).
8. Place the lid 1 on top of the basket 3 (Fig.
H).
9. Insert the mains plug into a suitable socket.
N.B.: If the control light 8 is already lit, this
means the On switch 7 has already been
inadvertently activated.
10.Switch the device on using the On switch 7.
The control light 8 will light up (Fig. I).
The steam steriliser will switch off automatically
after disinfecting and the control light will go
out.
Newborn babies do not initially have sufficient

antibodies to be able to protect themselves
from pathogenic germs. For this reason it is vital
that disinfected teats and bottles are used when
preparing infant feeds. Even the most minute
food particles left on teats and feeding bottles
can easily lead to a build-up of bacteria, which is
a health hazard to infants. Components should
therefore also be cleaned each time before disinfecting. The steam steriliser uses heat to disinfect the components. Water is heated to above
90 C and is converted into steam. The heat
generated therefore disinfects the components
inside the steriliser swiftly and reliably. This way
the teats and feeding bottles only come into
contact with heat and steam. As the steam steriliser uses very little water, only minimal power
is required too.
5.2 Disinfection
Warning!
Directly after switching off, the device

will still contain steam, which will, to
some extent, escape through the
steam outlet valve. You should therefore take care not to scald yourself.
Allow the equipment to cool down
while sealed for at least three minutes.
Directly after disinfecting the bottles
will be very hot and should only be
removed using the tongs supplied.
Beware! The plug should be removed from the
socket after each use to ensure that the device
cannot be inadvertently switched on.
Beware: All components being disinfected must

be washed thoroughly and be free of any food
residues.
The drawings A to I for the disinfecting process
can be found on the unfolded page.
1. Remove the measuring jug 9 from the base 6
(Fig. A).
2. Using the jug 9 measure 70ml of tap water
and pour into the base 6 (Fig. A).
N.B.: 70 ml corresponds to two beakers full
of water (2x 35ml).
3. Place the steam receptacle 5 on the base 6
(Fig. B).
4. Place the bottle holder 4 in the steam receptacle (Fig. C).
Beware: Always disinfect the bottles open and
dismantled, otherwise the material can become
misshapen.
5.3 Please observe the following:

The disinfection process lasts approx.

8 minutes using 70 ml of water.
Disinfection is only guaranteed if the
process is not interrupted and the time is
not reduced.
You should use only normal tap water without added chemicals.
Ensure that the equipment is descaled on a
regular basis in accordance with "6.2 Descaling" to ensure the steriliser continues to
function correctly.
6. Cleaning and care of the equipment

6.1 Cleaning

Washing out the device on a regular basis will
help to reduce scaling. However, eventually the
boiling process will cause a deposit of limescale
in the base of the steam steriliser.
This limescale can have a detrimental effect on
the disinfecting process.
Warning!
Always detach the plug before cleaning

the device.
Only ever clean the device once it has
cooled down.
Beware! Do not use strong cleaning or
scouring agents, as these can attack the sur-

in water, as it contains electrical components,
which could become damaged.

4 as well as steam receptacle 5 either with
washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.
you follow the procedure described below using

household vinegar:
1. To descale mix 35 ml hot water with 35 ml
household vinegar and pour into the base 6.
2. Leave to solution to work in for 30 minutes
and then discard.
3. Wipe the device with a damp cloth.
With heavy scaling you should use a proprietary descaler. Please observe the relevant
instructions for use.

manire sre et conomique.
Toute personne qui assemble, utilise, nettoie ou

prsente notice d'emploi.
Conservez soigneusement cette notice d'emploi

afin de pouvoir vous y rfrer tout moment.
Si vous vendez ou offrez votre appareil un

permet de dsinfecter des biberons et des
accessoires de biberon.
Les lments dsinfecter doivent rsister
l'bullition car la temprature de dsinfection
dpasse 90 C.
Cet appareil ne doit tre utilis que dans des
espaces ferms et secs.
Cet appareil est destin un usage priv et non
un usage commercial.

2.4 Description du fonctionnement

Le
strilisateur
vapeur
est
chauff
lectriquement. L'eau verse dans l'appareil est
porte bullition. La vapeur chaude ainsi
gnre limine les germes et dsinfecte les
biberons et leurs accessoires.

L'appareil existe dans deux versions :
1. Modle europen avec fiche secteur
2 broches, n d'article 10.251.012
2. Modle britannique avec fiche secteur
3 broches, n d'article 10.749.054
L'utilisation et le fonctionnement de l'appareil
ne varient pas d'un modle l'autre.

Cet appareil est construit et fabriqu selon
l'tat actuel de la technique. Toutes les
directives de scurit europennes applicables
ont t respectes et l'appareil a t test
conformment aux normes correspondantes.
Les appareils de ce type peuvent cependant
s'avrer dangereux.
Votre scurit mrite bien quelques minutes
d'attention! Juste le temps de lire nos consignes
de scurit. Vous connaissez probablement dj
la plupart de ces consignes, mais nous vous
recommandons pourtant de les lire. Certaines

Utilisez l'appareil uniquement pour lusage
prvu et conformment la notice demploi
(voir 2.1 Usage prvu la page 22).

Vrifiez que la tension secteur requise (voir

plaque
signaltique
sous
lappareil)
correspond votre tension secteur locale.
Lappareil doit tre pos uniquement sur
une surface fixe, plane, sche et non
inflammable.
Ne pas placer l'appareil proximit de
surfaces chaudes, dans un four chaud ou
proximit d'appareils gaz ou lectriques;
l'appareil pourrait tre endommag.
Ne jamais faire fonctionner l'appareil sans
eau en raison du risque de surchauffe.
Ne jamais laisser lappareil sans surveillance
pendant le fonctionnement.
Dbranchez la fiche secteur de votre
appareil aprs utilisation afin d'viter toute
mise en marche accidentelle.
3.4 Protection contre le choc

demploi ou de rparations effectues en
nutilisant pas exclusivement des pices de
rechange
dorigine. Cela
sapplique
galement aux rparations effectues par
des personnes non qualifies. Une adresse

En cas dventuels dysfonctionnements, la
rparation de lappareil peut tre effectue
uniquement par une personne qualifie.
Dans le cas contraire, la garantie ne sera pas

3.3 Protection contre les brlures

Etant donn que
l'appareil
fonctionne
des
tempratures leves, le non-respect
des avertissements suivants peut
entraner des brlures.
Les surfaces de l'appareil deviennent trs
chaudes pendant le fonctionnement. Ne
toucher l'appareil qu'au niveau de la poigne
prvue cet effet ou des interrupteurs.
Ne pas dplacer le strilisateur vapeur en
cours de fonctionnement. Si vous souhaitez
dplacer l'appareil chaud, teignez-le,
dbranchez la fiche secteur et attendez que
l'appareil ait refroidi. Vous risqueriez de
vous brler au contact des surfaces
chaudes.
Immdiatement aprs la dsinfection, les
biberons sont trs chauds et ne doivent
tre retirs qu'au moyen de la pince
biberons fournie avec l'appareil.

Avertissement! Les consignes de

scurit suivantes doivent vous
protger contre tout choc lectrique.
N'utilisez cet appareil que si l'appareil et le
cble secteur sont intacts.
Lorsque le cble secteur est endommag, il
doit tre remplac par le fabricant, son
S.A.V. ou une personne qualifie afin
dviter des mises en danger.
Ne pas introduire d'eau ou d'autres liquides
l'intrieur de l'appareil en dehors du
rservoir prvu cet effet. En
consquence :
ne jamais utiliser en extrieur
ne jamais poser de rcipients contenant
de l'eau, comme par exemple un verre
d'eau ou un vase, sur l'appareil
ne jamais utiliser dans un environnement
trs humide
ne pas faire fonctionner proximit d'un
vier.
Si malgr ces prcautions, un liquide pntre
dans l'appareil, dbranchez immdiatement
la fiche secteur et faites rparer l'appareil
par un personnel qualifi. Une adresse est
indique la fin de la prsente notice
demploi.
Ne jamais saisir l'appareil, le cble secteur
ou la fiche secteur avec des mains humides.
Toujours retirer le cble secteur au niveau
de la fiche secteur. Ne jamais tirer sur le
cble.
Veillez ne pas plier ou tordre le cble
secteur.
Maintenez le cble secteur l'cart des
surfaces chaudes (par ex. plaque de
cuisson).
Evitez d'utiliser une rallonge lectrique.

L'utilisation d'une rallonge n'est autorise
que dans certaines conditions :
La rallonge lectrique doit tre adapte
l'intensit de courant de l'appareil.
La rallonge lectrique ne doit pas pendre
librement : elle ne doit pas reprsenter
un obstacle sur lequel une personne
pourrait trbucher ni tre la porte des
enfants.
La rallonge lectrique ne doit pas tre
endommage.
Aucun autre appareil ne doit tre branch
la prise secteur en raison du risque de
surcharge du rseau lectrique (interdiction d'utiliser des prises multiples!).

5. Dsinfection des biberons, ttines et accessoires

5.1 Remarques gnrales sur la
dsinfection
3. Placez la cuve 5 sur le socle chauffant 6

(ill. B).
4. Placez le panier pour biberons 4 dans la cuve
(ill. C).
Attention! Toujours striliser les biberons
ouverts et dmonts en pices dtaches pour
prvenir toute dformation des matriaux.
5. Placez les biberons ouverts, la tte en bas
dans le panier pour biberons 4 (ill. D).
Remarque : Empilez si possible les
capuchons sur le panier pour biberons 4.
Vous gagnerez ainsi de la place dans la panier
pour accessoires (ill. E).
6. Placez le panier pour accessoires 3 sur la
cuve (ill. F).
7. Placez les accessoires dans le panier pour
accessoires 3 (ill. G).
8. Positionnez le couvercle 1 sur le panier pour
accessoires 3 (ill. H).
9. Branchez la fiche secteur dans une prise
secteur adapte.
Remarque : Si le voyant de contrle
lumineux 8 est dj allum, cela signifie que
l'interrupteur de marche 7 a t actionn
par inadvertance.
10.Allumez l'appareil l'aide de l'interrupteur
de marche 7.
Le voyant de contrle lumineux 8 s'allume
(ill. I).
Le strilisateur vapeur s'arrte automatiquement la fin du processus de dsinfection et le
voyant de contrle lumineux s'teint.
Au cours des premiers mois, les nouveau-ns

ne disposent pas d'anticorps suffisants pour se
protger efficacement contre les agents
pathognes (germes pathognes). Il est donc
primordial d'utiliser des ttines et des biberons
dsinfects pour la prparation de la nourriture
du nourrisson. La prsence du moindre rsidu
de produit alimentaire sur les ttines ou les
biberons
peut
aisment
entraner
le
dveloppement de bactries prsentant un
danger pour la sant. C'est pourquoi ces
lments doivent tre soigneusement lavs
avant chaque dsinfection. Le strilisateur
vapeur fonctionne selon le principe de la
dsinfection chaud. L'eau est porte plus de
90 C et transforme en vapeur. La chaleur ainsi
produite dsinfecte les lments placs dans
l'appareil de manire rapide et fiable. Les ttines
et les biberons n'entrent donc en contact
qu'avec la chaleur et la vapeur d'eau. L'appareil
consomme peu d'lectricit compte tenu de la
faible quantit d'eau requise pour la
dsinfection.
5.2 Dsinfection
Attention ! Tous les lments dsinfecter
doivent tre soigneusement lavs et

dbarrasss de tout rsidu alimentaire.
Les illustrations A I relatives la dsinfection
sont disponibles sur la page dpliante.
1. Retirez la dosette eau 9 du socle chauffant
6 (ill. A).
2. Mesurez 70 ml d'eau du robinet l'aide de la
dosette 9 et versez cette quantit d'eau dans
le socle chauffant 6 (ill. A).
Remarque : Une quantit d'eau de 70 ml
correspond deux dosettes remplies
35 ml.

5.3 Veuillez observer les points

suivants:
Avertissement !
Immdiatement aprs l'arrt, l'appareil

contient encore de la vapeur chaude
qui s'chappe en partie par le dispositif
d'vacuation de la vapeur. Veillez ne
pas vous brler. Laissez l'appareil
refroidir pendant au moins trois
minutes.
Immdiatement aprs la dsinfection,
les biberons sont trs chauds et ne
doivent tre retirs qu'au moyen de la
pince biberons fournie avec
l'appareil.
Attention ! Aprs chaque utilisation, dbranchez
la fiche secteur de la prise afin d'viter toute mise
en marche accidentelle de l'appareil.
Une dsinfection avec une quantit d'eau de

70 ml dure environ 8 minutes.
La dsinfection n'est garantie que si le
processus de dsinfection n'est pas
interrompu ou court.
Utiliser uniquement de l'eau du robinet sans
aucun additif.
Veiller effectuer un dtartrage rgulier
conformment au paragraphe 6.2
Dtartrage afin que lappareil puisse
continuer fonctionner normalement.
6. Nettoyage et entretien de l'appareil

Essuyez rgulirement l'appareil afin de rduire
la formation de calcaire. Au bout de quelque
temps, du calcaire se dpose sur le socle
chauffant du strilisateur cause du processus
d'bullition.
Les dpts de calcaire peuvent rduire
considrablement la puissance lors de la
dsinfection.
Remarque : En cas de lgers dpts de
calcaire, il est prfrable dutiliser le processus
dcrit ci-dessous en employant du vinaigre:
1. Mlangez 35 ml d'eau chaude avec 35 ml de
vinaigre blanc et versez le tout dans le socle
chauffant 6.
2. Laissez agir la solution pendant 30 minutes
puis jetez-la.
3. Utilisez ensuite un chiffon humide pour
nettoyer l'appareil.
En cas de forts dpts de calcaire, vous devez
utiliser un dtartrant en vente dans le
commerce. Respectez les consignes dutilisation
du dtartrant.
Avertissement !
Dbranchez toujours la fiche secteur

avant de nettoyer l'appareil.
Nettoyez
l'appareil
uniquement
lorsqu'il est froid.
Attention ! Ne pas utiliser de produits
dtergents ou abrasifs qui pourraient
endommager les surfaces de l'appareil.
1. Retirez le couvercle 1, le panier pour
accessoires 3, le panier pour biberons 4 et la
cuve 5 du socle chauffant 6.
Attention ! Ne jamais plonger le
socle
chauffant 6 dans l'eau, ceci pourrait
endommager des composants lectriques.
2. Essuyez le socle chauffant 6 avec un chiffon
humide aprs chaque utilisation.
3. Nettoyez le couvercle 1, le panier pour
accessoires 3, le panier pour biberons 4 et la
cuve 5 la main ou au lave-vaisselle.

fabrication. Tout autre dommage est exclu de la
garantie.
Les dommages rsultant dune utilisation non
conforme de lappareil ne sont pas couverts. Le
cordon dalimentation et le connecteur sont
exclus de la garantie, dans la mesure o il sagit
dune usure normale. Au cours des 2 premires
annes compter de la date dachat, nous
remdions aux dfauts reconnus comme tels
sans facturer les frais accessoires. La prise en

charge des frais doit tre dtermine au

Sans justificatif, lappareil vous sera retourn

vaporizador y, con ello, por la calidad y la
seguridad. Ahora desinfectar de forma muy
sencilla y segura hasta seis biberones de boca
ancha FIRST CHOICE y los accesorios para
biberones. De este modo se matan totalmente
los grmenes patgenos, contra los que un

recin nacido todava no se puede defender
suficientemente. Las piezas desinfectadas se
pueden volver a utilizar inmediatamente.
Le deseamos a su beb un sano desarrollo.
1. Notas importantes antes del primer uso

Estas instrucciones de uso le ayudarn a utilizar
su vaporizador de forma segura y econmica.
Toda persona que instale, maneje, limpie o
elimine este aparato, debe haber tomado
conocimiento y entendido todo el contenido de
estas instrucciones de uso.
Por ello, guarde bien estas instrucciones de uso,

para poder disponer de ellas en todo momento.
Si vende o regala su aparato, entregue con l
estas instrucciones de uso, para que el siguiente
propietario pueda utilizarlo tambin de forma
segura.

RAPID puede desinfectar biberones y
accesorios de biberones.
Las piezas a desinfectar deben ser resistentes a
la coccin, ya que la temperatura supera los
90 C durante la desinfeccin.

secos y cerrados.
Este aparato slo es apropiado para el uso
domstico privado y no para fines industriales.

2.4 Descripcin del funcionamiento

Este vaporizador se calienta elctricamente. El
agua de su interior se calienta hasta ebullicin.
El calor desarrollado por la atmsfera de vapor
que se ha producido mata los grmenes y, con
ello, desinfecta los biberones y sus accesorios.
2.2 Modelos
El aparato se suministra en dos variantes:
1. Modelo europeo, con enchufe de 2 PIN,
n. de artculo 10.251.012
2. Modelo britnico, con enchufe de 3 PIN,
n. de artculo 10.749.054
Por lo que respecta al manejo y el
funcionamiento, no existe ninguna diferencia
entre las dos variantes.

3. Indicaciones de seguridad
Este aparato est construido y fabricado segn
el actual estado de la tcnica. Se han seguido
todas las correspondientes directivas europeas
de seguridad y el aparato se ha verificado de
acuerdo con la norma. No obstante, de este
tipo de aparatos pueden surgir tambin
peligros.
Vale la pena que dedique 5 minutos a su
seguridad! No precisar ms tiempo para leer
nuestras
indicaciones
de
seguridad.
Probablemente ya conoce la mayora de las
indicaciones, a pesar de todo lalas, ya que
alguna que otra de ellas ser nueva para usted y
le puede proteger contra daos.

Este aparato no est destinado a ser
utilizado por personas (incluidos nios) con
capacidades fsicas, sensoriales o intelectuales
limitadas o con insuficiente experiencia y/o
con insuficiente conocimiento, a no ser que
sean supervisadas por una persona
encargada de su seguridad o hayan recibido
de ella instrucciones sobre cmo se debe
utilizar el aparato. Se debe vigilar a los
nios, para asegurar que no jueguen con el
aparato.
Preste atencin a que el cable de la red
nunca sea causante de tropiezos, ni que
nadie se pueda enredar con l o pisarlo.

calentar excesivamente.
No deje nunca el aparato sin vigilancia
durante su utilizacin.
Desconecte el aparato de la red despus de
su utilizacin, para que no pueda ser
conectado accidentalmente.

3.2 Indicaciones generales
Antes del uso, lea atentamente estas

instrucciones de uso. stas forman parte del
aparato y tienen que estar a mano en todo
momento.
Utilice el aparato solamente para el uso
previsto descrito (ver "2.1 Uso previsto" en
la pgina 31).

3.4 Proteccin frente a descarga

No vierta nunca ms de 70 ml de agua, ya

que de lo contrario podra perjudicar al
funcionamiento.
Tenga en cuenta que se extingue cualquier
derecho de garanta y responsabilidad en
caso de utilizar accesorios que no sean

uso o de no emplear nicamente repuestos
originales en caso de reparaciones. Lo
mismo es aplicable en caso de ejecucin de
las reparaciones por personas no
cualificadas. Al final de estas instrucciones
de uso encontrar la direccin de contacto.
En caso de eventuales fallos de
funcionamiento, la reparacin del aparato
debe ser ejecutada nicamente por una
persona cualificada. De lo contrario, se
extingue todo derecho de garanta.
3.3 Proteccin frente a las quemaduras y las escaldaduras

hmedo
no hacerlo funcionar directamente junto
a un fregadero.
En caso de que llegara a penetrar lquido en
el aparato, desconecte inmediatamente el
enchufe de la red y haga reparar el aparato
por personal experto cualificado. Al final de
estas instrucciones de uso encontrar la
direccin de contacto.
No toque nunca el aparato, el cable de la
red o el enchufe de la red con las manos
mojadas.
Desconecte el cable de la red tirando
siempre del enchufe. No tire nunca del
propio cable.
Preste atencin a que el cable de la red no
resulte doblado o aplastado.
Mantenga el cable de la red alejado de las
superficies calientes (p. ej. placas de cocina).
Se debe evitar el empleo de cables de
prolongacin. Slo es permisible bajo
condiciones muy determinadas:

deben sacar con la pinza para biberones que
se adjunta.

El cable de prolongacin debe ser

adecuado para la intensidad de corriente
del aparato.
El cable de prolongacin no debe estar
instalado de forma "volante": no debe ser
causante de tropiezos ni estar al alcance
de los nios.
El cable de prolongacin no debe estar
nunca daado.
En la toma de corriente de la red no debe
estar conectado ningn otro aparato que
ste, ya que de lo contrario se podra
producir una sobrecarga de la red
elctrica (prohibicin de los enchufes
mltiples).

5. Desinfeccin de biberones, tetinas y accesorios

5.1 Generalidades sobre la desinfeccin
Precaucin! Desinfecte siempre los biberones
Al principio los recin nacidos no tienen todava

bastantes
anticuerpos
para
protegerse
suficientemente de los grmenes patgenos.
Por ello las tetinas y los biberones estriles son
una condicin previa importante en la
preparacin del alimento del lactante. Restos
mnimos de alimento en las tetinas y los
biberones ya pueden causar fcilmente
crecimientos bacterianos peligrosos para la
salud. Por ello, las piezas deberan limpiarse
adems antes de cada desinfeccin. El
vaporizador trabaja con el mtodo de
desinfeccin en caliente. Para ello se calienta el
agua por encima de 90 C y se evapora. El calor
as producido desinfecta de forma rpida y fiable
las piezas introducidas. Las tetinas y biberones
slo entran pues en contacto con el calor y el
vapor de agua. Las tetinas y los biberones slo

Gracias a la reducida cantidad de agua que
consume el vaporizador para la desinfeccin,
tambin se necesita slo poca corriente.

6. Coloque la cesta para accesorios 3 sobre el
recipiente del vapor (fig. F).
7. Coloque los accesorios dentro de la cesta
para accesorios 3 (fig. G).
8. Coloque la tapa 1 sobre la cesta para
accesorios 3 (fig. H).
9. Inserte el enchufe de la red en una toma de
corriente adecuada.
Nota: Si la lmpara de control 8 ya brilla
ahora, significa que el conectador 7 ya fue
accionado por error.
10.Conecte el aparato con el conectador 7.
La lmpara de control 8 brilla (fig. I).
El vaporizador se desconecta automticamente
despus de la desinfeccin y la lmpara de
control se apaga.
Advertencia!
Inmediatamente
despus de la desconexin todava hay
vapor caliente en el aparato, el cual
fluye parcialmente a travs de la salida
de vapor. Preste pues atencin para
no escaldarse. Deje enfriar el aparato
cerrado por lo menos durante tres
minutos.
Inmediatamente despus de la
desinfeccin los biberones estn muy
calientes y slo se deben sacar con la
pinza para biberones que se adjunta.
5.2 Desinfeccin
Precaucin! Para eliminar cualquier resto de
alimento todas las piezas a desinfectar se deben

limpiar a fondo previamente.
Las figuras A hasta I sobre la desinfeccin las
encontrar en la pgina desplegable.
1. Saque el vaso medidor 9 de la base
calefactora 6 (fig. A).
2. Vierta con ayuda del vaso medidor 9 un total
de 70 ml de agua del grifo en la base
calefactora 6 (fig. A).
Nota: 70 ml equivalen a dos vasos medidores con una cantidad de agua de 35 ml.
3. Coloque el recipiente del vapor 5 sobre la
base calefactora 6 (fig. B).
4. Coloque el soporte para biberones 4 dentro
del recipiente del vapor (fig. C).

Precaucin! Para que el aparato no pueda ser
conectado por error desconecte el enchufe de

la toma de corriente despus de cada uso.
5.3 Tenga en cuenta:
Una desinfeccin dura aprox. 8 minutos con

una cantidad de agua de 70 ml.
Una desinfeccin slo est garantizada

cuando el proceso de desinfeccin no se
interrumpe ni se acorta.
Utilice exclusivamente agua corriente
normal sin ningn aditivo.
Para que se mantenga la capacidad funcional
realice regularmente una desincrustacin de
la cal segn se indica en la seccin "6.2
Desincrustar la cal".
6. Limpieza y cuidado del aparato

6.1 Limpieza
6.2 Desincrustar la cal

Limpiando regularmente el aparato se reduce su
incrustacin con cal. No obstante, al cabo de
algn tiempo se depositar cal en la base
calefactora del vaporizador, a causa del proceso
de ebullicin.
Las incrustaciones de cal pueden empeorar
considerablemente el rendimiento durante la
desinfeccin.
Nota: En caso de incrustaciones de cal ligeras
lo mejor es que utilice el procedimiento con
vinagre domstico que aqu se describe:
1. Para desincrustar la cal, mezcle 35 ml de
agua caliente con 35 ml de vinagre
domstico y virtalos en la base calefactora

2. Dejar actuar la solucin durante 30 minutos
y retirarla.
3. Seguidamente limpiar el aparato con un pao
hmedo.
En caso de incrustaciones de cal gruesas
deber utilizar un producto desincrustante de
los habituales en el comercio. Siga las
indicaciones

del
producto
desincrustante.
Advertencia!
Desconecte siempre el enchufe de la

red, antes de limpiar el aparato.
Limpie al aparato solamente cuando
est fro.
Precaucin! No utilice productos de limpieza
agresivos ni productos abrasivos, ya que estos
podran corroer las superficies.
1. Retire la tapa 1, la cesta para accesorios 3, el
soporte para biberones 4 y el recipiente del
vapor 5 de la base calefactora 6.
Precaucin! La base calefactora 6 no debe
sumergirse nunca en el agua, ya que contiene
componentes elctricos que se podran daar

2. Limpie la base calefactora 6 con un pao
hmedo despus de cada uso.
3. Limpie la tapa 1, la cesta para accesorios 3,
el soporte para biberones 4 y el recipiente
del vapor 5 ya sea con agua de lavar o en el
lavavajillas.

9. Eliminacin
9.1 Aparato

10. Garanta
BSi se maneja con cuidado y se siguen las
instrucciones de uso, el fabricante otorga una
garanta de 2 aos a partir de la fecha de
compra.
Nos comprometemos a reparar gratuitamente
el aparato si se trata de defectos de material o
de construccin. Queda excluido cualquier otro
derecho.
La garanta no cubre los daos que resulten del
uso inadecuado del aparato. El cable de
alimentacin y el enchufe estn excluidos de la
garanta, siempre que se trate de desgaste. En
los primeros 2 aos siguientes a la fecha de
compra repararemos los defectos en el marco
de reclamaciones reconocidas como justificadas
sin facturar los gastos accesorios causados.
Debe aclararse previamente quin asume los
costes.
El envo del aparato deber realizase en
cualquier caso acompaado del certificado de
garanta o del comprobante de compra.
Si no se demuestra la fecha de compra, se
producir una facturacin de costes sin
consulta. La devolucin se producir entonces
contra reembolso.
Haga rellenar el certificado de garanta en el

momento de la compra y consrvelo
cuidadosamente. No se sustituirn los
certificados de garanta perdidos.

1. Indicaes importantes antes da primeira utilizao

Este manual de operao ajuda-o a utilizar o seu
vaporizador de forma segura e econmica.
Todas as pessoas, que montam, operam, limpam
ou eliminam este aparelho, tm de ler e
entender todo o manual de operao.
Por isso, guarde-o bem, para que esteja sempre

mo.
Se alguma vez vender ou oferecer o seu
aparelho, entregue igualmente este manual de
operao, para que tambm o prximo

2.4 Descrio do funcionamento

Este esterilizador aquecido electricamente. A
gua que se encontra no esterilizador
aquecida at ferver. Os germes so eliminados
no calor resultante da atmosfera de vapor e,
deste modo, os biberes, bem como os
respectivos acessrios, so desinfectados

No que respeita a operao e o funcionamento
no existem diferenas entre estas variantes.

Este aparelho construdo e fabricado de
acordo com o estado actual da tecnologia.
Todas as respectivas directivas europeias de
segurana so respeitadas e o aparelho foi
testado de acordo com a norma. Mesmo assim,
este tipo de aparelhos tambm pode
representar perigos.
No descure a sua segurana e dispense 5
minutos do seu tempo! Bastam 5 minutos para
ler as nossas instrues de segurana.
Provavelmente j conhece a maioria das
instrues, mas volte a l-las, tendo em conta
que, mesmo assim, haver uma ou outra
instruo que ainda no conhece e que o pode
proteger de danos.

da tomada e aguarde at que o aparelho
tenha arrefecido. Caso contrrio, poder

Logo aps a desinfeco, os biberes esto
muito quentes e s devem ser retirados
com a pina fornecida.

Se, mesmo assim, entrar lquido no aparelho,

mande reparar o aparelho por um tcnico

Nunca toque no aparelho, no cabo de rede
ou na ficha com as mos hmidas.
Retire o cabo de rede sempre pela ficha.
Nunca puxe no prprio cabo.
Certifique-se de que o cabo de rede nunca
dobrado ou entalado.
Mantenha o cabo de rede afastado de
superfcies quentes (p. ex. placa de fogo).
Deve evitar utilizar cabos de extenso. A
sua utilizao s permitida em condies
muito especficas:
O cabo de extenso tem de ser adequado
para a intensidade de corrente do aparelho.
O cabo de extenso no pode estar no

meio do caminho: no pode existir o
perigo de algum tropear no cabo e este
no pode estar ao alcance de crianas.
O cabo de extenso no pode estar danificado.
No podem ser ligados outros aparelhos
tomada, para alm deste aparelho, sob
pena de provocar uma sobrecarga na
rede elctrica (proibio de tomadas mltiplas!).

5. Desinfeco de biberes, tetinas e acessrios

5.1 Informaes gerais relativas

base de aquecimento 6 (fig. B).
4. Insira o suporte para biberes 4 no recipiente de vapor (fig. C).
Cuidado! Desinfecte os biberes sempre
abertos e desmontados nos componentes
individuais, uma vez que podem surgir
deformaes no material.
5. Coloque os biberes abertos virados para
baixo no suporte para biberes 4 (fig. D).
Nota: Empilhe as tampas de fecho preferencialmente no suporte para biberes 4. Desta
forma, poupa espao no cesto de acessrios
(fig. E).
6. Coloque o cesto de acessrios 3 sobre o
recipiente de vapor (fig. F).
7. Coloque os acessrios dentro do cesto de
acessrios 3 (fig. G).
8. Coloque a tampa 1 sobre o cesto de acessrios 3 (fig. H).
9. Insira a ficha numa tomada adequada.
Nota: Se a luz piloto 8 j se encontrar acesa,
porque o interruptor para ligar 7 j foi premido inadvertidamente.
10.Ligue o aparelho com o interruptor para
ligar 7.
A luz piloto 8 acende (fig. I).
O esterilizador desliga-se automaticamente
aps a desinfeco e a luz piloto apaga-se.
No incio da sua vida, os recm-nascidos ainda

no tm anticorpos suficientes para se
protegerem de forma suficiente contra agentes
patognicos (germes patognicos). Por isso,
indispensvel que as tetinas e os biberes
estejam isentos de germes, durante a
preparao dos alimentos para recm-nascidos.
Bastam pequenos restos de alimentos nas
tetinas e nos biberes para desencadear
facilmente uma formao de bactrias
prejudicial para a sade. Por isso, as peas
devem ser limpas adicionalmente, antes de cada
desinfeco. O esterilizador funciona com o
mtodo de desinfeco quente. Neste mtodo,
a gua aquecida acima dos 90 C e
transforma-se em vapor. O calor resultante
desinfecta de forma rpida e fivel as peas
inseridas. As tetinas e os biberes s entram
portanto em contacto com calor e vapor de
gua. As tetinas e os biberes s entram

Graas quantidade reduzida de gua que o
esterilizador consome para a desinfeco,
tambm no necessria muita electricidade.
5.2 Desinfeco
Cuidado! Todas as peas a desinfectar tm de
ser bem lavadas e limpas de todos os restos de
alimentos.
As figuras A a I relativas desinfeco,
encontram-se na pgina desdobrvel.
1. Retire o recipiente graduado 9 da base de
aquecimento 6 (fig. A).
2. Com a ajuda do recipiente graduado 9 insira
ao todo 70 ml de gua da torneira na base de
aquecimento 6 (fig. A).
Nota: 70 ml correspondem a dois recipientes graduados com 35 ml de gua respectivamente.
Aviso!
Logo aps o desligamento ainda se

encontra vapor quente no aparelho,
que sai parcialmente atravs da sada
de vapor. Por isso, tenha ateno para
no se queimar. Deixe o aparelho
arrefecer fechado, durante pelo
menos trs minutos.
Logo aps a desinfeco, os biberes
esto muito quentes e s devem ser
retirados com a pina fornecida.

Cuidado! Aps cada utilizao, retire a ficha da

tomada, para que no seja possvel ligar o
aparelho inadvertidamente.
5.3 Respeite o seguinte:
Com uma quantidade de gua de 70 ml uma

desinfeco dura aprox. 8 minutos.
Uma desinfeco apenas garantida se o
processo de desinfeco no for
interrompido ou a durao do mesmo no

for reduzida.
Utilize apenas gua normal da torneira sem
outros aditivos.
Efectue regularmente uma descalcificao,
de acordo com a seco "6.2 Descalcificar",
para que seja mantida a funcionalidade.
6. Limpeza e cuidados do aparelho

6.1 Limpeza

A descalcificao reduzida atravs da limpeza
regular do interior do aparelho. Depois de
algum tempo, depositar-se-, mesmo assim,
calcrio na base de aquecimento do
esterilizador, devido ao processo de cozedura.
As
descalcificaes
podem
diminuir
consideravelmente a potncia durante a
desinfeco.
Nota: Em caso de descalcificaes ligeiras o
melhor ser utilizar o processo com vinagre,
aqui descrito:
1. Para a descalcificao misture 35 ml de gua
quente com 35 ml de vinagre e verta a
mistura para dentro da base de aquecimento

2. Deixe a soluo actuar durante 30 minutos e
depois deite-a fora.
3. A seguir, limpe o aparelho com um pano
hmido.
Em caso de descalcificaes acentuadas deve
utilizar um produto de descalcificao
convencional. Respeite as instrues de
utilizao do produto de descalcificao.
Aviso!
Retire sempre a ficha da tomada antes

de limpar o aparelho.
Limpe o aparelho apenas quando este
estiver frio.
Cuidado! No utilize produtos de limpeza ou
produtos abrasivos, uma vez que estes podem
danificar a superfcie.
1. Retire a tampa 1, o cesto de acessrios 3, o
suporte para biberes 4 bem como o recipiente de vapor 5 da base de aquecimento 6.
Cuidado! A base de aquecimento 6 nunca pode
ser mergulhada em gua, uma vez que contm
componentes elctricos, que podem ficar
danificados deste modo.
2. Aps cada utilizao, limpe a base de aquecimento 6 com um pano hmido.

reivindicaes.
Danos resultantes de uma utilizao inadequada
do aparelho no so reembolsados. O cabo e a
ficha encontram-se excludos da garantia se o
problema for atribuvel ao desgaste. Dentro dos

primeiros 2 anos, a contar a partir da data de
aquisio, eliminamos todas as falhas
devidamente reconhecidas sem quaisquer
custos adicionais. A aceitao dos custos tem de
ser previamente esclarecida.
O envio do aparelho tem de vir sempre
acompanhado pelo certificado de garantia ou

di utilizzare il vostro nuovo sterilizzatore a
vapore in modo sicuro ed economico.
Chiunque installi, utilizzi, pulisca o smaltisca
lapparecchio deve aver letto per intero e capito
quanto contenuto nelle presenti istruzioni per
luso.
Le istruzioni per luso dovranno essere

custodite con cura ed essere sempre disponibili
per la consultazione.
Se decidete di vendere o di regalare il vostro
apparecchio, allegate anche le istruzioni per
luso, affinch il prossimo proprietario possa
consultarle ogniqualvolta ne avesse bisogno.

biberon ed i relativi accessori.
I componenti da sterilizzare devono essere
resistenti alla temperatura di ebollizione, poich
la sanitizzazione avviene ad oltre 90 C.

2.4 Descrizione del funzionamento

Lo sterilizzatore a vapore viene riscaldato
tramite corrente. Lacqua in esso contenuta
viene portata ad ebollizione. Il calore presente
nellatmosfera satura di vapore uccide i germi
disinfettando sia i biberon che i relativi
accessori.
2.2 Modelli
Lapparecchio disponibile in due versioni:

Entrambi i modelli non si differenziano n per
utilizzo n per metodo di funzionamento.

Durante il funzionamento, le superfici
dellapparecchio si surriscaldano, pertanto si

trasportare lapparecchio ancora caldo
occorre spegnerlo, staccare la spina dalla
presa di corrente e attendere finch
lapparecchio si sar raffreddato. In caso
contrario ci si pu ustionare toccando le
superfici surriscaldate.
Subito dopo la sterilizzazione, i biberon
sono estremamente caldi e devono essere
tolti utilizzando lapposita pinza igienica a
corredo.

un lavabo.
Se dovesse accidentalmente penetrare
liquido nellapparecchio, staccare immediatamente la spina e fare riparare da personale

Non afferrare mai lapparecchio, il cavo di
alimentazione o la spina con le mani
bagnate.
Staccare sempre il cavo di alimentazione
tirando la spina. Non tirare mai il cavo.
Accertarsi che il cavo di alimentazione non
sia piegato o schiacciato.
Tenere il cavo di alimentazione lontano da
superfici calde (ad esempio la piastra della
cucina).
Evitare lutilizzo di cavi di prolunga. I cavi di
prolunga sono consentiti solo alle seguenti
condizioni:
Il cavo di prolunga deve essere idoneo

allintensit di corrente dellapparecchio.
Il cavo di prolunga non deve essere
"sospeso, ossia non deve essere di intralcio n essere raggiungibile dai bambini.
Il cavo di prolunga non deve essere danneggiato in alcun modo.
Alla presa di corrente non devono essere
collegati altri apparecchi oltre al presente,
altrimenti si pu provocare il sovraccarico della rete di corrente ( vietato luso

pungenti. In questo caso, staccare
immediatamente la spina e rivolgersi ad un
elettricista specializzato. Gli indirizzi di

5. Sanitizzazione di biberon, tettarelle ed accessori

5.1 Generalit di sanitizzazione
Cautela! I biberon devono essere sempre

sterilizzati aperti e scomposti nelle loro parti,
altrimenti si possono deformare i materiali.
5. Inserire i biberon capovolti ed aperti
nellapposito portabiberon 4 (Fig. D).
Nota: Se possibile, impilare i tappi nel portabiberon 4. In questo modo resta pi spazio
nel cestello porta-accessori (Fig. E).
6. Collocare il cestello porta-accessori 3 sul
contenitore del vapore (Fig. F).
7. Inserire gli accessori nel cestello portaaccessori 3 (Fig. G).
8. Posizionare il coperchio 1 sul cestello portaaccessori 3 (Fig. H).
9. Inserire la spina di rete in una presa di
corrente adatta.
Nota: Se lindicazione luminosa 8 si gi
accesa, significa che gi stato inserito
inavvertitamente il pulsante acceso/spento 7.
10.Accendere lapparecchio con il pulsante
acceso/spento 7.
Lindicazione luminosa 8 si accende (Fig. I).
Lo sterilizzatore a vapore si spegne
automaticamente al termine della sterilizzazione
e lindicazione luminosa si spegne.
Attenzione!
Subito
dopo
lo
spegnimento,
nellapparecchio
ancora presente vapore caldo che

fuoriesce in parte dallapertura di
uscita del vapore. Attenzione a non
scottarsi!
Lapparecchio
deve
raffreddarsi per almeno tre minuti
restando chiuso.
Subito dopo la sterilizzazione, i
biberon sono estremamente caldi e
devono essere tolti utilizzando
lapposita pinza igienica a corredo.
Allinizio, il sistema immunitario dei neonati non

ancora in grado di difendersi da solo da
eventuali germi patogeni. Per questo durante la
preparazione degli alimenti del lattante
importante utilizzare tettarelle e biberon
correttamente sterilizzati. Gi piccoli residui di
alimenti sulla tettarella o nel biberon possono
facilmente causare la formazione di batteri e
germi pericolosi e nocivi per la salute del beb.
Per questo occorre pulire i componenti anche
prima di ogni sterilizzazione. Lo sterilizzatore a
vapore funziona secondo il principio della
sterilizzazione a caldo: lacqua viene riscaldata
ad una temperatura superiore a 90C ed
evapora. Il calore cos generato sanitizza
rapidamente e con sicurezza i componenti
inseriti. Le tettarelle ed i biberon, quindi,
vengono solo a contatto con calore e vapore
acqueo. Considerata la ridotta quantit di acqua
utilizzata dallo sterilizzatore vaporizzatore per
la sanitizzazione, il consumo di corrente
minimo.
5.2 Sanitizzazione
Cautela! Tutti i componenti da sterilizzare
devono essere lavati accuratamente e puliti da

qualsiasi residuo di cibo.
Le figure da A ad I sulla sanitizzazione sono
riportate alla pagina pieghevole.
1. Estrarre il misurino 9 dalla base riscaldante 6
(Fig. A).
2. Utilizzando il misurino 9, versare complessivamente 70 ml di acqua potabile nella base
riscaldante 6 (Fig. A).
Nota: 70 ml corrispondono a due misurini
con una quantit di acqua di 35 ml ognuno.
3. Appoggiare il contenitore del vapore 5 sulla
base riscaldante 6 (Fig. B).
4. Inserire il portabiberon 4 nel contenitore del
vapore (Fig. C).

Cautela! Staccare la spina dellapparecchio dalla

Un ciclo di sterilizzazione con una quantit

dacqua di 70 ml dura ca. 8 minuti.
La sterilizzazione garantita solo se il ciclo
non viene interrotto e viene eseguito per
tutta la durata prescritta.
Utilizzare esclusivamente normale acqua
potabile senza ulteriori additivi.
Effettuare un ciclo di decalcificazione
regolare come indicato al paragrafo "6.2
Decalcificazione" per garantire un corretto
funzionamento dellapparecchio nel tempo.
6. Pulizia e manutenzione dellapparecchio

6.1 Pulizia
6.2 Decalcificazione
Una pulizia regolare dellapparecchio riduce la
formazione di depositi di calcare. Con il tempo,
tuttavia, la ripetuta ebollizione dellacqua
provoca il depositarsi di calcare sulla base
riscaldante dello sterilizzatore a vapore.
I depositi di calcare possono pregiudicare
lefficacia della sterilizzazione.
Nota: Se i depositi di calcare sono lievi si
consiglia di adottare il metodo di pulizia qui
descritto con laceto:
1. Per decalcificare, miscelare 35 ml di acqua
calda con 35 ml di normale aceto e versare
nella base riscaldante 6.
2. Lasciare agire la soluzione per 30 minuti e
poi svuotare.
3. A questo punto, pulire lapparecchio strofinandolo con un panno umido.
Se i depositi di calcare sono resistenti si dovr
utilizzare uno dei prodotti anticalcare reperibili
in commercio osservandone le istruzioni per
luso.
Attenzione!
Prima di pulire lapparecchio si deve

sempre staccare la spina.
La pulizia deve avvenire solo dopo che
lapparecchio si raffreddato.
Cautela! Non utilizzare mai detergenti
aggressivi o abrasivi poich possono deteriorare
le superfici dellapparecchio.
1. Togliere il coperchio 1, il cestello portaaccessori 3, il portabiberon 4 ed il contenitore del vapore 5 dalla base riscaldante 6.
Cautela! La base riscaldante 6 non deve mai
essere immersa in acqua, poich si possono
danneggiare i componenti elettrici in essa
contenuti.
2. Strofinare la base riscaldante 6 con un panno
umido dopo ogni utilizzo.
3. Pulire il coperchio 1, il cestello porta-accessori 3, il portabiberon 4 ed il contenitore del
vapore 5 con acqua corrente oppure in lavastoviglie.

in caso di usura. Nei primi 2 anni dalla data

riconosciuti come legittimi senza addebito dei

allegando il certificato di garanzia o lo scontrino

costi di riparazione verranno addebitati senza
