Activity
Teachers and translators
will introduce themselves
and answer any questions
the students have.
Students will either write
down or think of as many
words or letters as they
can remember from the
previous lessons.
The teacher will call on
students to come write a
letter or a word on the
board that they
remembered. After the
student writes on the
board and returns to their
seat the teacher will
practice saying the letter
slowly so the students can
get used to their
pronunciation.
Students will turn to the
person next to them and
practice saying the old
words.
The teacher will hold up

The teacher will call on
individual students to
mimic her pronunciation
of the letter. They can
stand up and she will say
the letter and they will say
it back. Then she can
praise them and they can
sit down. She should call
on several students and at
the end add a few extra
sounds that will lead into
tomorrows words.
