I believe there is one God and in that one God there are three beings; God, Jesus,

and the Holy Spirit. I think God is a loving God and he genuinely wants all of us in
heaven with him. That being said, I also believe that he is angry and sad when we sin.
The ultimate truth is that Jesus came to earth as a man, lived a perfect life, and died for
our sins. All of this is recorded in the bible so that we may learn and believe.
The universe was created by God who has always been and will always be. He
created earth in 6 days and on the seventh day he rested. The world was created perfect;
God cannot create anything that is not perfect since he is perfect. The world is now
broken, as we are, there is much sin in the world. Humans have a sinful nature and we
must be saved through Jesus Christ to be with him in heaven one day. I would define a
human being as a being that has matter and takes up space. They were created by God to
be perfect and live forever in harmony with him. Adam and Eve sinned in the garden
tainting his perfect creation. We could no longer live in the garden with God since we are
sinful and he cannot be in the presence of sin. Human nature is broken and we are by
nature, evil. I would also define a human being as the crowning glory of God's creation.
He created humans spotless, clean, and sinless. In the garden, Adam and Eve ate the
forbidden fruit; disobeying God and bringing sin into the world. We, as human beings,
are broken. We can only be saved through Jesus Christ, God's son. We must believe and
be baptized for the forgiveness of our sins and let the Holy Spirit reside in us. God loves
us and wants us to, one day, reside with him in heaven one day. He is also an angry God
and he will cast down those who refuse him. God is a God of his word and we make the
choice of whether or not we spend forever with him.

Yes, there is right and wrong. God gave us a conscience to know right and wrong,
yet people are broken and do not always listen to their conscience or they do not know
God and so they do not know the difference between right and wrong. In some ways what
is meaningful to them differs. Family, friends, love, and God are some things that are
meaningful to me and I strive in my life to do what I think is good and Godly. I love my
God, my family, and my friends and whatever I do in my life I hope to please them and
be a shining light of Gods promise to others. Some other example of things that should
be meaningful to us as Christians is respect, kindness, the well-being of others, our
Christian mission of telling others of Jesus, and obeying God's commands. To others
human life, money, lust, materialism are all that matters to them and it is our jobs as
followers of Jesus to lead them to the right path. I struggle on the subject of what happens
to us after death. I believe that when our physical bodies die, our spirits do not. I know
that God will come back one day and we will all be judged accordingly and he will bring
his faithful followers up to heaven with him.
I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he was born of a virgin. He was
born to Mary. She was pledged to be married to Joseph, a carpenter, and in hearing of her
pregnancy he was going to quietly break off their engagement. An angel of the Lord came
to Joseph and assured him that Mary was pregnant by the Holy Spirit and that he should
stay with her and their son was to be named Jesus. Months later Jesus was born in the
town of Bethlehem and the king, Caesar, was trying to kill him. Mary, Joseph, and Jesus
went into the desert until it was safe for them to come out of hiding. Jesus came to earth
and lived a perfect life to die for our sins on a cross. He rose three days later and then
ascended up to heaven to sit at the right and of God, his father. I have been raised in the

Church of Christ my whole life. I still believe in the denomination that I have attended
my whole life because we follow the bible to the best of our ability as it is written.
I have come to this understanding of my faith through a few trials and hard times.
During my time away from Rehoboth I had to choose to go to church and by making that
choice it reassured my faith and made me a stronger Christian. It was a very challenging
time for me in my life in the aspect that I was away from most of the people I care about
and that my parents had just gotten divorced. I found an amazing church with an amazing
pastor that really spoke not only through his sermons, but also through his life. I attended
a different church on Wednesday nights with a great youth group and a truly unbelievably
youth pastor. Paul spoke to us teens like we mattered and that we were the ones that
would make a difference in the world. I know that I will remember both of these leaders
throughout my life and I strive to be like them in living out Christ and glorify God. My
dad is also an outstanding example for me to follow. He lives his life to how he knows is
right and he does not let anyone interfere with his relationships or with his actions. I
always have him, and many other exemplary role models, to look up to and look to for
advice.
