Heroin and prescription opiates are leading to a dramatic increase in overdose

deaths in our communities. Did you know that overdose is now the leading cause
of accidental death in the United States? If you or someone you know uses these
drugs, it is important for you to be able to respond to an overdose.
There is something you can do!

Albany County and Catholic Charities Care Coordination Services are offering a
FREE Opiate Overdose Prevention Training with naloxone (Narcan). Anyone
interested in learning how to use naloxone to save a life is welcome to attend.
