If there is a link between personality profiling and major

selection and major satisfaction, than personality tests
may prove to be a useful tool in academic and career
advising.
The Color Code Personality Test divides people into four
personality profile types based on core motivations.
Red - Order
Blue - Relationships
White - Peace
Yellow - Fun

60 random juniors and seniors from each major were

asked to take the color code test and answer questions
on major satisfaction whether or not they felt they fit
their major. Results were graphed in Excel.

Possible explanations for fewer red and white

results and more blue and red results:

-Blue and yellow persoanlities are

emotion-based and red and white are

logic-based. Blue and yellow may be

more willing to participate in this type

of study.

-It is possible that red and white are a

lesser portion of the population, or at

least the population of the 4 majors
